As we climbed into the car, fatigue wrapped around us like a heavy blanket. Dipper slumped into the back seat, his head resting against the window, while Mabel excitedly chattered about Pacifica's speech, her voice a bright spot amid our exhaustion. Stan, gripping the steering wheel, seemed more energized than ever, his eyes glinting with mischief in the dim light of the dashboard.

"Can you believe the look on Preston's face?", Stan said, chuckling as he pulled away from the mansion. "He looked like he'd just swallowed a lemon."

Mabel laughed, the sound infectious. "And Pacifica was so brave!"
Dipper nodded, still trying to process everything that had just happened. "I didn't think she'd actually go through with it. It took guts to confront her dad like that, especially in front of all those people."

I glanced back at Dipper, as I was sitting in the passenger seat. "I think she surprised everyone, including herself. But she was right about everything. They needed to hear that history—the good and the bad."

"Yeah, but you could see how furious Preston was.", Dipper replied, rubbing his temples. "He's not going to let this go easily. I mean, I wouldn't want to be in Pacifica's shoes right now."

Mabel, ever the optimist, chimed in, "But it's a start! She opened the door for change, right? Maybe this will inspire others to speak out too. If the Northwest family can acknowledge their past, who knows what might happen?"

Stan turned onto the gravel road leading back to the shack, the tires crunching softly beneath us. "Just remember, kids, some people don't like to have their skeletons rattled. And I'd bet good money that Preston's got a whole graveyard worth of them."

As the gravel crunched beneath the tires, I felt the familiar weight of exhaustion settle in my bones. I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the fatigue that had crept in during the evening's events. "You're right, Stan. But it's not just Preston we have to worry about. This whole thing might blow up in Pacifica's face, and I don't want to see her hurt."

Dipper turned slightly, concern etched on his face. "I just hope she knows what she's getting into. Standing up to her family like that could have serious repercussions."

Mabel, ever the sunshine, leaned forward between the seats, her eyes sparkling despite the late hour. "But think of the possibilities! If Pacifica can change things for the better, it's worth the risk. Maybe her dad will actually listen!"

"Yeah, if he doesn't explode first.", I said, letting out a small laugh that quickly turned into a yawn. "I'm just so tired. I can't believe we stayed up that long just to watch a family drama unfold."

Stan glanced at me with a knowing smile. "Well, I'd say it was worth it for the entertainment value."

As we drove through the quiet woods, the trees loomed like silent sentinels, shadows dancing in the moonlight.

"Do you think anyone will take her seriously?", I asked, my voice barely rising above a whisper. "It's one thing to make a speech, but another for the Northwests to really change."

"Change takes time, Y/n.", Stan replied, his tone more serious now. "But it starts with someone having the guts to say enough is enough."

I nodded, although a lingering doubt nagged at the back of my mind. "I just hope she's ready for whatever comes next. I mean, it's not just about her, it's about all of us, right? We're in this together, but the fallout might be bigger than we expect."

Mabel, sensing the shift in the mood, quickly piped up, "Hey, how about a victory dance when we get back? I think we need to celebrate Pacifica's bravery, even if it's just the four of us! A little fun will help lift the mood."
