"ALRIGHT LADIES AND GENTELEMEN, THE 16 STUDENTS WHO PASSED THE CALVARLRY BATTLE WILL BE SHOWING US THEIR POWERS ON FULL DISPLAY IN A BATTLE TOURNAMENT NOW!" Muc announced.
The crowds' cheers could be heard for miles, but the voices of the contestants still seemed to overshadow them as their determination glowed above everything else.
"THE STUDENTS WILL BE PLACED IN 1 ON 1 COMPETITIONS, AND THEY WILL USE THEIR SPECIAL ABILITIES TO EITHER KNOCK OUT THEIR OPPONENTS, MAKS THEM STEP OUT OF THE STAGE BOUNDERIES, OR FORCE THEM TO GIVE UP! NOW, IF YOU'RE READY TO SEE THOSE SPECIAL BATTLES, LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM, PLUUUUUS ULTRAAAA!"
The crowd kept shouting over and over, making communication nearly impossible for the contestants.
"Now, students, come closer to draw out lots to see your first matches! You may enjoy the recreational games that the school has placed. You may either join the activities or prepare for battle, the choice is yours. Now, for the first team -" Midnight was cut off by Ejiro raising his hand.
"Excuse me. I apologize, but I'm withdrawing." The boy spoke, shocking everyone.
"What?! Are you nuts? This is a rare chance that you might never have again to be scouted by a hero agency!" Izuku exclaimed as he stared with shock at his classmate.
"It's just not right. I don't remember anything from the calvary battle besides the end. It's that guys quirk for sure." Ojiro exclaimed as he pointed at the purple haired teen from before.
Izuku stared at the boy for a second before scoffing.
"I've thought this through, and I'm sure of my choice. No way am I going to advance only by being someone's puppet." He spoke up.
Nearly everyone started telling him that he was overreacting and that he wasn't taking the right choice, but he didn't bother listening to any of them, and instead insisted on his choice.
"My name is Nirengeki Shoda from class 1-B. I also withdraw. No matter how powerful I am, the way I pass isn't acceptable and goes against the rules of the festival." Another boy said as he stepped forward.
"How noble, makes my body feel sparkly." Aoyama said, followed by a bunch of people agreeing that their choices were rather noble and thoughtful.
Everyone mumbled for a few seconds before Midnight decided on what to do.
"What you're saying is so naive, boys! It's turning me on! You're both withdrawn!" The heroine shouted.
"Tmi. Didn't need to hear that, like at all." Izuku mumbled.
"Meh, want me to get -" Izumo was cut off by a glare.
"One more comment about Hawks or any oiled up man for that matter, and I'm gonna make sure that you won't be able to participate in this tournament or any other, big brother." Izuku threatened.
The boy shivered slightly at that before sticking his tongue out at his brother, who looked away with a huff and a giggle.
"Now, since 2 students have resigned, we will have to choose 2 students from the team that scored fifth in the exam." Midnight stated.
However, the leader of that team seemed to disagree as she and her fellow team members shook their heads at her.
"We were frozen most of the time, so it's pointless. I'd suggest you choose 2 students from a team that fought the enrire time, Tetsutetsu's team." She stated.
With that said, Tetsutetsu and his teammate, Ibara, replaced the 2 withdrawn contestants, and the draws started.
The matches in order were:
