Battle After The Other

Izuku headed back to his waiting room, but not before hearing a bunch of people cheering for Shinsou and pushing him forward.

He smiled to himself and rushed inside to watch the other battles.

The fights went one after the other, with most of the results going according to Izuku's expectations.

Mina defeated Aoyama after she tricked him and knocked him out.

Iida won after Mei gave up. She had considered the match more of a free advertisement for her gadgets, and when she was done showing all of them, she just gave up and walked out of the boundaries, deaming the boy as the winner.

Ibara defeated Denki by making the boy overuse his quirk while she was shielded  and safe.

Izumo and Todoroki both finished their matches almost immediately as the former managed to overwhelm Momo continuously, while the latter froze Sero and half of the arena with him, without breaking a sweat.

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu both showed great strength and didn't give up. Kirishima only won after the two were put in an arm wrestling match.

Bakugo and Ururaka's fight actually shocked most of the students and watchers as the girl managed to put a great fight against the boy, tricking him over and over. However, she was still overpowered and defeated, deaming Bakugo as the winner.

With those matches done, the next set of matches started

Izuku vs. Mina.
Iida vs. Ibara.
Izumo vs. Todoroki.
Bakugo vs. Kirishima.

Most of the crowd cheered as Izuku and Mina stepped into the arena, the others booing at the winged teen.

"I know I'm going to lose." The girl spoke. Izuku titled his head at her, asking for her to continue.

"You're a lot more powerful than me, but I'm still not gonna give up without a fight!" She announced with a smile.

Izuku smirked at that and nodded. "Then, neither will I." He smiled.

With that, Mic announced the start of the fight.

Mina rushed at the teen, but Izuku focused on the defence as he escaped her and jumped backwards before sending a bunch of energy blasts.

Some reached the girl, causing damage, but she continued rushing at him, attempting to attack him, only for Izuku to dodge and start flying.

"You still need to work on your long- distance attacks. You stand no chance against someone like me if you only focus on short-distance." The boy stated before blasting her again, sending her flying backwards.

"I kno -" her sentence couldn't continue as Izuku blasted her backwards again.

She was about to regain her balance when yet anothef blast came at her, causing her to fall out of the stage.

"AND THE WINNER IS IZUKU YAGI!" Mic shouted, the rest of the crowd following in doing the same.

"Good job, Mina, but I still suggest what I said." Izuku told the girl as he extended his arm.

She immediately took it and stood up, smiling in the process.

With that, Izuku returned to the watching room where he watched the rest of the matches.

Iida had easily defeated Ibara, deaning him as the next match for Izuku.

Bakugo and Kirishima's fight was pure defence vs. pure offence where Bakugo overpowered the red-haired.

Izumo and Todoroki's match wasn't. They fought. They showed power. They shattered the ground. Izumo had shattered a bone after the other as he used all he had against the other boy. Todoroki had taken their words to heart and used his fire to fight against the green haired boy. The match had caused so much destruction that the heroes had to step in.
