Izuku hated waking up in the hospital. He hated being surrounded by a bunch of people he barely knew. He hated the smell that would be stuck in his brain for the week to follow."You have some explanation to do, Izuku."
Hawks calling him by his name was weird. Was it hot? Yeah, he couldn't lie and say that it wasn't. However, was it also kind of scary considering that he usually gets called 'Angel'? Also, yeah.
"Oooh... hey, sir..." The teen mumbled as he cracked an awkward smile, trying to break eye contact with the man, only for Hawks to hold his head, keeping their eyes linked.
"I... I'm sorry." Izuku mumbled, a blush rushing to his cheek.
"There's nothing to be sorry about, Angel. You saved 2 people, and more if Stain had planned on going on a killing spree. I just wish that you at least told me before you left." Hawks answered, his forehead touching Izuku's.
"You were with your fans, and it was an emergency that I couldn't ignore. I just didn't want to annoy you while you were with your fans." He mumbled, his eyes turning slightly dull.
"You're more important, Angel. You're a hundred times more important." The man mumbled.
Izuku just closed his eyes, his forehead still stuck to Hawks's.
"Can you two stop? I just woke up like 5 minutes ago, and I'd like not to throw up." Izumo spoke up from his bed a few meters away.
"ZUMO!" Izuku shouted, accidentally smashing his head into Hawks's, making the man stumble backwards.
"Hawks! I... sorry, I panicked." The boy stuttered as he rushed at the hero.
"It's okay, Angel. I would have panicked if I had a brother and was flirting with a hero in front of him." Hawks said with a smirk.
Izuku's face flushed again as his mouth fell open. "I wasn't flirting!" He shouted, making the man giggle.
"He's messing with you, Zuku. Asshole bird." Izumo stated as he glared at the hero, making the latter shrug.
Izuku just sighed before sticking his tongue out at the hero and rushing to his brother.
"Are you okay?" He asked, receiving a reassuring nod followed by a tender smile.
The teen felt Hawks standing next to him as a hand crept onto his waist, but he didn't bother reacting.
"Grandpa and Hawks were stated as the people who stopped Stain so that you don't end up in issues." Izumo said, causing Hawks to sigh.
"I asked not to be brought into it, but they spread it anyway. Sorry, Angel." Hawks said, making Izuku nod as a small smile formed on his lips.
"It's fine, Birdie." He giggled, making the man stare at him with a dramatic glare before raising him and spinning him before pinning him to the bed, his hands tied to his back by Hawks's own hands.
"You're under arrest for unacceptable nicknames!" The hero exclaimed.
Izuku rolled his eyes and went on with it as he let out a dramatic sigh. "My apologies, sir Hawks. What profound word-shattering crime I've committed!" He cried out in a high tone, making the hero giggle.
"You two make me sick to my stomach." Izumo huffed out, making the 2 glare at him.
"You're no fun. Sems like my angel took all of it before you could come out." Hawks said as he let go of Izuku.
"He's older than me, sir." Izuku said, bug not before boring what Hawks had said. 'My Angel' would be stuck in his head for sure.
"He is? Is that why he's so defensive over you?" Hawks asked.
