"Do you think you can control your feathers like I do?" Hawks asked as he and Izuku flew around the city.
"Never tried it." Izuku shrugged before reaching a building where he froze, feeling something weird.
"Anything wrong?" Hawks asked as he continued flying next to him.
"There's something in there." Izuku noted as he pointed at a building that was right next to them.
"That's a supermarket." Hawks asked, slightly confused.
"There's something evil. Someone evil. I don't know. I just feel bad intentions radiating." Izuku noted.
Hawks seemed to understand that as he casually nodded before motioning for the teen to head to the building.
"Well, we should check it out. Shouldn't we?" He asked, receiving a nod from the hero student.
The 2 flew downwards towards the building and made a swift entrance, attempting not to make a fuss.
"Can you track the bad intentions?" Hawks asked. Izuku just nodded as he continued walking.
It barely took a few seconds before Izuku stopped, his eyes dull as though he saw a ghost.
"It's a nomu. I can sense a lot of souls inside it, just like in U.S.J." Izuku mumbled.
The creature let out a weird screech, making both heroes stare in disgust.
A woman was walking nearby, checking the aisle for what seemed like cat food, when the creature made a move.
However, Izuku immediately moved forward, shielding the woman, only for him to find her levitating away.
'It is definitely Hawks using one of his feathers.' He thought to.himslef
"Clear this place! There's a villain!" Hawks ordered, making everyone rush away, scared for their lives.
The creature let out another screech before punching Izuku's shield, shattering it and sending him flying away.
"He's not as strong as the U.S.J. nomu. That one would have sent me flying." Izuku stated.
Hawks nodded before sending a bunch of feathers at the creature, only for said creature to blow them away, causing a wind shockwave.
"Its brain is exposed! That might be its weakness." Hawks noted as he let out a feather and caused it to garden, holding it as a sword.
He rushed at the creature and dodged a punch before twirling around and attempting to stab it, only for Izuku to stop him.
"YOU CAN'T KILL THEM!" Izuku shouted.
"It won't kill them. There is no them, Angel. They're a creation. A group of quirks forced onto our person, forcing them to act as mindless slaves." Hawks answered.
"THEY'RE STILL SOULS!" Izuku shouted, startling the man.
The creature suddenly punched him, forcing him backwards, but Izuku just scoffed.
He rushed at him, blasting him away before shooting a sword into his waist, scratching him.
The creature let out a screech in pain as light emerged from its eyes for a second, startling Hawks.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I have a weird plan, though." Hawks said, making Izuku stare at him with a puzzled look.
"You can take energy, right?" Hawks asked as he dodged another attack.
The creature seemed a lot weaker than the 2 expected.
"I can." Izuku said as he blocked a wind attack.
"Can you please try sucking its energy?" He asked, making Izuku shrug his shoulders.
He rushed at the creature, encasing him in a shield. The creature suddenly let out another screech before falling down, its energy getting zapped.
That went on for a few minutes, causing Izuku to fall down to his knees, feeling like every cell in his body was set on fire.
"Try -" Hawks was cut off by Izuku, who let out a scream as the scars on his body started glowing while a halo sprung on his head.
"I purify you!" The boy shouted, his voice abnormal as though hundreds of people talked through him.
Suddenly, the shield shot energy at the creature, causing it to let out one more screech.
Energy kept attacking and surrounding him for a few seconds before the shield disappeared.
Izuku's eyes went dull as his halo disappeared, and the energy glowing in bi's scars ceased.
Hawks immediately caught him, his eyes turning wild as he stared at a guy sitting on the ground, his body normal as though he was never hurt.
"Are you... the nomu?" He asked, receiving no answer as the boy laid down, head to the ground, completely passed out.
Hawks could not put a hand on it. He wanted the teen to zap away its energy to knock it out, not to do whatever he did.
"Are you and the angel okay?" Asked the lady from before as she rushed into the door.
"Oh, of course, don't worry about us." Hawks said with a smile, putting on his usual persona.
"Oh, what a relief. Everyone was worried! A weird light symbol appeared on top of the building, and we thought that the villain caused it!" The woman exclaimed, confusing the hero
"Do not worry. We have everything under control." The hero smiled as he held both passed-out boys and headed out.
He gave the former nomu or whatever the boy way to the police before heading to his agency where he placed down Izuku on his bed, letting him rest.
"What in the world are you?" He mumbled to himself as he stared at him.
The HPSC would definitely report to him, so he didn't bother researching. Instead, he headed away to get some rest as well.
However, the rest never came as he was immediately called to head to the HPSC.
"That intern that you have training under you is dangerous and way too powerful." He was told.
"I am aware. He was able to stand up to all 4 of the top pro heroes." Hawks answered.
"Yeah, we know. However, that isn't why we're mentioning this. The battle that took place in the Kyushu general market caused a light symbol to appear in the sky, right above the building." Madame President had spoken as a video appeared, showing said symbol.
It was a huge circle with 4 interlinked crosses inside it, joined by a small sun similar to the one on the teen's necklace.
"We expect that you ensure that he remains on our side. Otherwise, you know what will happen." He was told, making him nod.
More explanation was given to him before he headed back to his agency where Izuku had already woken up.
"What happened? Did I hurt anyone?" Izuku asked, his face dull and pale.
"What? No, no! You saved that nomu! Your halo appeared, and he fell down, purified." Hawks answered, shocking the teen.
"Purified? I can do that?" Izuku asked, receiving a shrug.
"I guess it's why I feel like my body is on fire." He mumbled as he let out a sigh.
Hawks sat down next to him on the bed. "You did great, Angel. That woman might have died if you didn't save her. A lot of people would have died if you didn't sense the nomu and stopped him." Hawks said with a smile.
"Yeah, I guess. You're to thank for the woman getting saved, though. I didn't do anything. Your feathers did." Izuku answered.
Hawks shook his head before pointing at Izuku's wings.
"No, your feathers did, Angel."
