Once again, this is in no way medically correct, so please just go along with it! Also I posted a new story called, Two For One, so please just check that out(: I hope you guys like this chapter.
He almost walked past me but he stopped because the little guy behind me let out a huge giggle. He acted like he didn't see him when he came up to me.
"Hey have you seen a little boy run by here?"
"Was it a little boy with brown eyes and an adorable smile?"
"Yes that sounds like him."
"Sorry, I didn't see him."
"Okay, I guess I'll go find him."
The little boy stepped away from his hideout of my legs and he looked very smug until he felt a pair of arms surround him.
"And you thought you could escape monkey."
He started pouting until the guy started tickling him. I was about to walk away when the guy caught me leaving.
"I didn't catch your name."
"That's because I didn't give it to you."
"I'm Adam and you are?"
"I'm supposed to be somewhere else, sorry but I really have to go." I just wanted to be Andrew right now. There's no point Em, it's not like he can hear you.
I turned around, "I'm Emory." And then I went inside. I plugged in my phone so it would charge and changed into my pjs, "You're missing out on almost seeing me naked Andy." Wow you missed your chance.
I really wanted some water so I decided to wander around the hospital looking for a vending machine. I tried to memorize my way back but I was probably going to end up lost on the other side of the hospital. I finally found a vending machine and put in a dollar for my water. I opened my water and took a sip and looked around and realized I was lost. I closed my eyes and tried to memorize the way back but no luck. I heard someone coming and it was Adam. He got a water too and then gave me a questioning look, yeah I guess normal people don't stand by vending machines.
"I'm kind of lost."
"Right now or in life?" Well this just got deep.
"Both, I guess."
"I can help you find your way back to your friends room?"
"Thanks."
"So who're you here for?"
"Best friend."
"What happened?"
"Car crash." He looked taken back when I said that but he quickly recovered.
"How bad is it?"
"He's um, he's in a coma. Don't say you're sorry, it's fine."
"I hope he wakes up."
"Who're you here for?"
"My dad."
"What happened?"
"Car crash." That's too much of a coincidence.
"When did it happen?"
Please don't say Wednesday, please don't say Wednesday.
"Wednesday." We were on an elevator so it's not like I could walk away or anything, his dad put three of my best friends here. I knew it wasn't his fault but part of me just wanted to yell at him and hit him.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"For what my dad did to your friends."
