First of all, that was rude. Who does that? Now I was kind of mad and then I looked up and it was him. It was the guy from the park. I couldn't even tell him off or anything. So I just stared at him like a weirdo.

He didn't say anything after our stare down. He just sat down and 'pretended' to do his homework. Come on, you cannot pretend to the queen of pretending. But I wasn't going to be the first one to say something, I shouldn't have to. He's the one who came to me.

I thought he said something but it was only my phone.

I frowned at my phone because it was from my best friend from back home. It was Sydney and I didn't even get to tell her to her face that I was moving.

Her text read, 'Hey Em, I miss you babe, we all miss you. Please visit or at least call us.'

I knew I was about to cry but I couldn't. I guess he noticed my face, and finally found the guts to talk to me.

He asked me, "What's wrong?"

I gave him a confused look and he pointed to my phone. I just shook my head but I guess a lot of people like verbal responses nowadays.

This was it. Bye bye pretty boy. I wrote, 'It's nothing, I'm fine.'

He looked extremely confused and to save him the trouble I wrote, 'I think you should go.'

Out of nowhere he looked kind of offended. And he said, "No I'm good right here."

Now I was offended. Fine be that way. I turned my music all the way up, hoping that he would get the hint. And then he did something so strange.

He held up a paper that said, 'I'm Andrew, it's nice to meet you.'

What was he doing? He then kept pointing at my white board. Okay I guess? People here were so strange.

I wrote, 'I'm Emory.' I thought I also should've added, 'It's not nice to meet you actually,' but I didn't want to be rude.

He smiled widely at this, dang he had a beautiful smile. He took out another piece of paper and wrote, 'I'm not trying to be rude, but why don't you talk?'

There it was. It was stupid of me to think he wouldn't mention it.

I wrote, 'I don't talk anymore, so I write.'

He wrote back, 'Okay, I'm going to write to you too then.'

I wrote back, 'You don't have to really, you can talk, but if you're expecting a reply, then you're going to have to give me a while to write it down.'

He wrote something that made me smile, 'Are you sure you're not saying that because you like hearing me talk? (;'

Okay he was cute, I'll give him that. But if he would've actually talked to me earlier than we could've talked more but the bell rang.

Before he left, he left me a piece of paper.

It said, "I'm lucky to have met you Emory, I'll see you tomorrow."

I think guys were strangely friendly here, if you need a guy like that come to ShadowView. Mary Ann was already waiting for me. I would have to tell her that I don't mind walking home.

I got to the car, and once again she asked me how my day was. It was very weird having someone who cared about me.

I wrote down, 'I made a friend and I might have lost another one, but I'm going to try to work it out with him.'

She smiled and said, "Wow you're already getting all the boys!"

Haha she was funny. Ha ha so funny. Yeah right. No but I wasn't about to lose my friends here. I reasoned out that if we stayed friends, I wouldn't have to tell them. I know Sebastian would never ask me about it, but I wasn't quite sure about Andrew. Hopefully they would get the hints of me not wanting to tell them.
