"Oh?" Mitsuya looked up from his sewing machine in surprise as Kakucho entered his atelier, dragging Izana with him as if he was carrying a cat by the scruff of its neck. He chuckled while Izana crawled onto the couch, arms crossed and a defiant glare on his face.
"Don't look at me like that, you were ready to raid the entirety of Yokohama all over again," Kakucho said angrily as he crossed his arms too, staring back.
"Good morning to you too, gentlemen," Mitsuya said, stepping away from his work now. He walked into the lounge area where he had set up an old couch, a coffee table and some stools for people to hang out while he worked.
Kakucho sighed in frustration and he shook his head. "I've tried distracting him but he is out for blood," he said, gesturing at Izana vaguely.
Mitsuya slanted his head and held back his laugh as he looked at how Izana sat brooding on the saggy couch. He couldn't help it, but he really did remind him of Mikey, even though they weren't even family by blood. Izana, however, hadn't been rid of some curse, like Mikey. He had been adopted by the Sano family but his pain hadn't inexplicably vanished and he could see, clear as day, how the incident where Yuuna got hurt had put Izana on a slippery slope. He sat down on a nearby stool. "I think I have the right tool on hand to help with this," he said with a sincere smile.
Izana growled unintelligibly.
"Yuuna? Are you ready?" Mitsuya yelled loudly.
"Hold your horses, I can't move as fast or you'll chew me out for causing my leg to bleed again," a moping voice came from behind the chamber screen in the far end of the room.
Izana's eyes shot towards Mitsuya who grinned mischievously.
Kakucho held back his laughter as he kept watching Izana closely.
"Is this alright?" Yuuna asked, stepping out from behind the chamber screen with a crutch under her armpit to keep the weight off her injured leg. She was wearing an embellished green corset piece and a short, sheer underskirt, exposing her legs, bandages included. "Oh! Izana! Kakucho!" She exclaimed, surprised. But then she realised what she was wearing and she blushed feverishly. "Mitsuya! You could have at least warned me that others were here!" She said, smacking him in the shin with her crutch while pulling her skirt down with her other hand.
Mitsuya quickly grabbed her arm to steady her. "Stop doing that, Baji will come for us if you continue to make it bleed again," he said, quickly glancing down at the bandages to check if any blood came seeping through. "On another note, I don't think these guys are here to watch us work," he said as he watched Izana's eyes lock on the bandages around Yuuna's leg. "Although it's actually kind of helpful to have you here now, Izana. Can you put on your suit for a bit? I want to see what autumn and winter look like together," he said while walking back to his cutting table to grab the fabric that was supposed to become Yuuna's dress skirt.
Yuuna regained her balance and smiled at Kakucho. "To what do we owe the pleasure?" She asked kindly, walking up to him.
Kakucho smiled too and gestured with his chin at Izana. "After what happened to you this one has been in a rather difficult mood," he said with another sigh.
Yuuna followed his gesture and noticed Izana's strained glare. She watched him for a moment, his chin tucked away in his turtle neck and a glare that shot daggers at everything in his line of sight. She knew this glare painfully well and her heart clenched. Her mind started to scramble instantly, trying to figure out a way to help him move forward from this. She knew a simple 'I'm fine, really' wouldn't really cut it with Izana at this point anymore. Especially now he knew that she came from Yokohama. His former turf. She hummed softly and stepped away from Kakucho a little. "Izana," she said firmly, straightening herself.
