There's a bit of gore in this chapter. Not too graphically described but the situation is twisted. It's Himiko so what do you expect?

In the midst of all the tanks the Doctor was working on there was an empty area where they were standing. Izuku looked around. The floor was relatively free of tubes and because they were in a warehouse, Gigantomachia could stand comfortably. Himiko had looked at all the tubes and had giggled at the one she called Handsy. She recognised Tomura. The Doctor said he'd be finished soon.

Izuku was glad to hear that. If he couldn't rewind his father, or figure out how to use Overhaul then, Tomura was another plan to restore him. Multiple plans were best and he could not afford a single point of failure. But today was not about that. Today was about restoring Himiko.

Yakuni had finished the copy of Himiko's quirk and it was time to give it to her.

At the edge of the little clearing within the tanks were two smaller tanks. One contained the copy Yakuni had grown and the other was one of the Doctor's quirk storage tanks.

"Is that me?" Himiko asked, looking at the tank that contained the copy.

"A clone of you," Yakuni told her. "It's about five years old," he added.

"Does it recognise us?"

"No. I haven't given the brain any stimulation, so it's still only functioning on a very early infant level," he explained.

Himiko grimaced and then turned away, back to Izuku. "You can do it now," she grinned at him.

"Himiko," Izuku objected.

"You need to practice right," she interrupted. "And I want my quirk back."

"But if I get it-"

Her eyes became hard and Himiko glared at him. "You've practiced with the quirk! I've watched you. You can control it. What's the difference between me and the apple?"

Izuku wanted to object that there was a lot of difference but in terms of quirk usage there really was no difference. "All right," he agreed, as he took a deep breath.

"Good!" Himiko grinned at him. "I want my quirk back, and then I want you to take it and give me the quirk there," she said, pointing at her clone. "Then I get to kill that."

"What?" Yakuni demanded.

"I wanna kill it!" Himiko said. "You are just gonna let it die, right?"

"Well, yes," Yakuni admitted. He had made some of the quirk clones into Nomu but they were all small and stupid. Even more than the lower level Nomu. They could improve that but it wasn't worth it but Yakuni had an idea for giving them a controller. A lot of small, stupid clones, controlled by a smarter one could be useful. Kind of like insects. He was still working on the theory so for now most of the clones were just being disposed of, with their bodies being melted down into nutrients for the other Nomu. "But-"

"So, I'll kill it," Himiko shrugged.

Izuku knew what Yakuni's problem was and he agreed it was kind of odd but he also knew Himiko and knew it would make her happy. "Just let her do it," he said, waving one hand. It dealt with the problem of what to do with the clone.

Himiko grinned. "So come on!" She gestured to Izuku.

He bit his lip. "You're sure."

"Izu!" Himiko growled.

"All right," he said, raising his hands in defeat. "Are you ready?" he asked. "Silly question," he added before she could say anything. "Let me just grab regeneration," Izuku said, reaching out with Dragon's Hoard to gently take the quirk from her.
