"You cook?!!" I asked walking towards George who was stuffing some chicken breasts with something I couldn't recognise, and giving him a quick hug.
"Well, we didn't live on pizza for five years!" He remarked raising his eyebrows.
So it's been five years since his divorce with Kian's mum. I feel sorry for both of them, but mostly for Kian.
"That's logical." I said chuckling as I sat on the edge of the dinning table.
"So how was your date yesterday? You both were asleep when I came back last night." George said shifting his eyes between me and the chickens.
"Yeah, we had an eventful day. The date was just perfect!" I replied excitedly. "We first went to an amazingly beautiful green area. Kian told me that you and him used to go there few years ago whenever he felt sad."
"Yeah." George sighed smiling. "Those days!" He added shaking his head slowly.
"Yeah, and then we went to The Big Ben for the first time in my life. And guess what, guess what, guess wh...okay sorry." I chuckled at the last part. "He asked me out inside of London Eye." I gushed excitedly.
"Wow! congratulations sweetheart." George smiled brightly at me. "But you're grounded." He added with a serious face.
I dropped my jaw staring at him. "But...but...why?" I asked with a wrought-up tone.
"For stealing." He replied firmly, refusing to look at me.
"WHAT?" I shouted widening my eyes. Why would he even bring that now?
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." He paused for a couple seconds. "You stole my son's heart." He smiled at me winking.
I sighed of relief. "Oh my god, you scared th...you scared me." I covered Bumbling; I don't think he'd like to hear such words.
"Good girl." He seemed to notice my covering. "Talking about my son, where is he?" He asked putting the chicken in the oven.
"He's asleep. He slept while I was explaining a math problem for him." I said laughing.
Finally! I understood something that Kian didn't. Progress has been made!
"He's exactly like his father." George said as he joined in laughing. "Jake came yesterday when you both were out, by the way." He stated sitting on the dinning chair.
I jumped of the table and sat on a chair, facing George. "He brought you some clothes and things. He also wanted to see you so desperately." He added.
"Oh my god, I want to see him tooo!" I said pouting.
"Don't worry, he's coming today. I told him to come back." George smiled at me.
"Thanks George." I smiled back at him.
"Anytime, sweetheart."
The next day:
"How on earth did the last question equal 9?!!" Kian asked, waiting for me to put my books in the locker.
