Finding thorn

Angel's POV: I ran again, this time looking for thorn. I mean, I'm really mad at thorn for killing moon's adopted cub, but truth is, me and thorn used to be mates, before the incident with shadow.

I finaly came to a clearing, thorn  was shivering under a tree, with gashes and a torn ear. "Thorn!" I yelped, running toward him and skidding on my paws. Thorn raised his head, perked his ears and smiled a bit. "Angel.. I- I didn't think you would come.." Thorn whined, momentarily pressing his nose with mine. "What happened to you!" I licked some of the blood spurting from his ears. "My pack.. They abandoned me. They didn't think I was strong anymore, and attacked me to prove it. River, my beta, took over." Shadow dropped his head on his paws, obviously from the pain. I perked my ears back, layed next to him, and licked his snout. "I deserved this.." Thorn whined. "No you didn't, it's not your fault you killed fang... You didn't know." I made eye contact with him. Thorn sighed. "Angel... Just leave me here.." Thorn pressed his nose to mine. I pulled back and growled. "No! Your my true mate, you can't die! Join us!" I yelped. Thorn smiled at me and licked my snout. "That's a generous offer, but.. One I can't exept." Thorn coughed and a little blood dripped down the side of his muzzle. "Thorn! We have to get you home! We will take care of you!" I whined and pressed my head to his side, worriedly. "Angel... I will be fine. Let nature decide my fate." Thorn licked my nose and rolled onto his side, heavily breathing.
Just then, moon ran in, skidded on her paws, and snorted smoke. My eyes widened, and thorn lifted his head and dropped it again. I ran infront of her, showing my teeth.

Moon's POV: I looked down at angel, it looked like she was protecting the wolf that killed fang. He looked bloodied and beat up... Well, I don't care! I will slaughter him...
"Moon! Please! Don't kill him... He.. He didn't mean to kill fang!" I fixed my gaze on angel. I snarled. "I don't care! He killed one of my kind right infront of me!" I took a step closer to so-called thorn and gave him a death glare. He shrunk back. Hmph. Some 'alpha'. Angel pinned back her ears and snarled back. "He is innocent, moon... He did not know you were trying to find a home and that he was your cub." Angel said in a low tone. "Well, any wolf should be loyal enough not to kill a cub! How would you feel If I killed your pups?!" I snapped. Angel shrunk back at me, pinned back her ears, and dipped her head. I felt a twinge of guilt in my heart. Thorn lifted his head and perked his ears. Angel hung her head and walked away, behind the tree that thorn was sitting under. I could see her lay down and hang her head. I growled and ran away.
