It was a bright, peaceful morning when Rajesh and Kabir knocked on Devansh's office door. Saira's excited giggles echoed in the hallway, her tiny hand clutching Rajesh's as she peeked shyly into the room.

Rajesh cleared his throat, shooting Kabir a glance before turning back to Devansh. "Sir, we were thinking... if it's alright with you, we'd like to take Saira out to the park for a little while. She's been asking us for weeks about it."

Kabir chimed in, "It's been so long since we spent some time together. I think she could use a little fun outside."

Devansh looked down at Saira, her eyes already sparkling with excitement. A warm smile softened his face as he nodded, reaching out to gently pat her on the head. "Of course. Go and have fun, Saira," he said, his voice soft. "Rajesh and Kabir will keep you safe."

Saira squealed with joy, throwing her arms around her father's neck for a quick hug before dashing to Rajesh and Kabir, who chuckled and followed her down the hallway.

As their laughter faded, Devansh felt a rare calm settle over him. It had been so long since he'd had a quiet moment to himself... or, more importantly, with Saanvi.

He headed up to their bedroom, opening the door softly to find Saanvi nestled in bed, looking up from her book with a smile when she saw him. He slipped in beside her, and without a word, she leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder as his arm wrapped around her.

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, the gentle morning light filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Devansh took a deep breath, feeling her warmth beside him, and gently pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"Saanvi," he murmured, his voice tinged with a rare vulnerability, "I need to tell you something."

Saanvi looked up, her expression softening as she met his gaze. She reached for his hand, squeezing it reassuringly. "You know you can tell me anything, Devansh," she said gently.

Devansh took a long pause, gathering his thoughts as he looked down at their entwined hands. "There are things from my past... things I've kept buried," he began, his voice barely a whisper. "You've seen glimpses of it already, but the full truth... it's darker than I wanted to show you. I've always protected you and Saira, but I realize I can't keep hiding this forever."

Saanvi's expression didn't waver; her fingers traced soothing circles over his hand. "Devansh, I know there's a lot you carry. I've sensed it from the beginning. But whatever it is... I want to understand. I'm here to help you carry it, even the dark parts."

He felt a weight lift as her words sank in. With a deep breath, he leaned his forehead against hers, closing his eyes. This woman, his partner, had an unwavering strength he marveled at every day.

"You're my strength, Saanvi," he whispered, his voice breaking slightly. "I've kept the shadows away because of you. But there are things I can't keep hidden any longer. Not if I want us to live freely... safely."

Saanvi moved closer, her arms circling around him as she whispered, "Whatever it is, we'll face it together."

They sat there, tangled in each other's embrace, surrounded by the quiet morning light, knowing that the truth, however dark, would not stand a chance against the love and trust they had built together.
