Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Jisoo asked now.
I know she's just worried about me, because you know my annoying wife keeps breaking my heart.
"Yeah I'm sure chu, and besides I don't want to be the third wheel anymore" I whispered the last words, cuz Lisa probably heard them, but unfortunately she still heard them
"What do you mean?" Lisa furrowed her eyebrows.
"Ahmm-" I tried my best to think of a good excuse but nothing came to mind, stupid me.
"Yeah, what do you mean Jennie" Jisoo said in an unrecognizable tone, she looked at me intently as if she was telling me that
"Don't you dare say anything to him," I gulped,
"Oh it's okay, don't mind me Lisa" I bit my lower lip, I knew Jisoo would scold me later.
Lisa just shrugged her shoulders ignoring the death stare Jisoo gave me
"I have to go"
Jisoo will probably kill me
We said goodbye to each other, I went to my car and drove all the way home
"Ugh I'm so hungry!" I whined and made myself comfortable on the couch.
"What do you want to eat Jennie?, we are also going to the supermarket to buy some things" Aunt Sally asked, If you are wondering she was the one who picked up chaeyoung she insisted that I should call her instead,
"Can you buy me some ramen?" He nodded and walked out the door I was alone here in this big house, I had to go with them to the supermarket
And my wife was probably still at university.
I had to watch a movie at least to entertain myself.
In the middle of the movie my eyes started to give up, so I decided to take a nap while waiting for my food
. So I went to my room upstairs.

A loud noise outside my room woke me from my sleep.
"I think it's Aunt Sally" I quickly got out of my room but I saw Chaeyoung's door open
“Is she here?” I thought, I peeked through the window but Chaeyoung’s car wasn’t in the garage, so even though I had a feeling that something bad was going to happen, I slowly approached the bedroom door and opened it lightly.
I peeked inside and my eyes widened from what I saw or more like WOW, I saw a man in Chaeyoung's room, I think he was looking for something
I slowly turned on the emergency button that we have in this house, so whenever something like this happens, the guards and police will know that you are in danger.
I'm going to leave my place bur
I saw him open Chaeyoung's drawer and he took out the box with our wedding rings in it.
"Hey! Give me that!" I shouted as loud as I could, he was surprised by my sudden outburst that's why he dropped the box, quickly picked it up and ran for my life.
"Get back here woman!" I heard him shout, I kept running until I reached the living room but my clumsy ass wouldn't cooperate, I slipped and he reached me
I put the ring in my pocket,
"Take whatever you want but please not this ring" I begged,
"You are the Obstacle!" I was shocked when something poked my side I screamed in pain, I fell to the floor and immediately passed out.
Chaeyoung POV

"Why don't you try to love him, Chae?" Irene said as she walked in the parking lot.
He knew about my arranged marriage with Jennie, I didn't really plan to tell him but I was caught off guard when he heard me talking to Jennie
"You know I'm mad at him, because my girlfriend friend broke up with him. I hate it when he always brings up topics like this.
"Ex-girlfriend" he said emphasizing the word ex
"It's still the same" he rolled his eyes at me, I opened the car door.
"I'm leaving" he gave me a hug and left I soon arrived at the section, I was about to pass the guard post but the guard stopped me in my tracks so I stopped and rolled down the car window
"Is there a problem?" I asked
"Ma'am, I just want to ask if your wife is at your house," he asked again.
"Maybe, why do you ask?"
"The emergency button rang and it came from your house, responders are already at your house" Suddenly I was nervous from what I heard I was shaking while driving
Even though I was still far from home, I could see a lot of police outside.
As soon as I parked my car, I quickly climbed out, I saw a man with handcuffs, what did this bastard do to Jernie?!
"Where's Jennie, where's my wife?" I asked the police
"She's already in the ambulance ma'am" I ran to where the ambulance was and I saw her, the responders were giving her first aid I could see a lot of blood. My knees were wobbly from the sight, I couldn't believe it happened to her, I felt like it was all my fault, even though I didn't treat her well, I still had to take care of her because she was still his wife.
Jennie's POV

I opened my eyes and everything was white, the hospital, I tried to move but immediately regretted it, it hurts!, I roamed my eyes around the hospital I was alone, I thought even for once Chaeyoung would care about me but I was wrong she's not here with me
But the door suddenly opened and it was
Chaeyoung who came into the room
"Good thing you're awake" he stared straight into my face as if searching for something, I felt like I was going to melt from his gaze
"Are you okay now?" He asked sincerely.
"Yes, I'm fine" I smiled at him to show that I was fine.
"Did you know that you were asleep for the past 3 days?" My eyes widened,
"Why is that?" I asked
"You lost too much blood that's why, and one more thing" he walked closer to me and flicked my forehead
"Why did you fight the villain for a ring?"
"This isn't just a ring Chaeyoung, this is our wedding ring, I thought you threw it away but I'm so glad you kept it, I really treasure the ring because it symbolizes that I'm married to you" he was silent, he stood up and went to the door
"I'll go to your doctor and also buy some food" I nodded. But before he stepped out he said something that made my heart beat faster
"I know that the ring is important to you but it's not right to risk your life and if you like me that much can you take care of yourself because I'm worried about you" and after that he walked out
Does that mean I'm also important to him I smiled from that thought
I may look like a tomato now, I hope we can stay like this forever.
