Candace Reinfeild was extremely tired. She had woken up way too early, thanks to her six month old baby boy. Not only was putting him back to sleep an ordeal, but it took so long that by the time she was finished, it was time to get ready for work. Then she began the tedious task of preparing her husband's breakfast. Once she completed it, she rushed upstairs and hurriedly threw on her tight green pencil skirt and white blouse she often wore to work. When her husband rolled out of bed and opened his eyes, his brow automatically furrowed as he saw his wife. "What are you wearing that for" he asked, quizically. Candace glared at her husband and rolled her eyes. "What? I can't look good going to work"? Her husband hopped out of the bed and made his way over to her. "Who are you trying to look good for Candace? Am I not enough for you"? Candace stepped back, her husband's anger evidently rising. "I'm not looking good for anyone. You're my husband. You're supposed to be enough " she retorted. "You've never just went to work in pencil skirts. Not since this past year" he yelled. "Rick, you need to chill out, okay. Maybe if you treated me a little better, you might not have this worry". Rick pretended to be confused. "What worry"? "Oh stop it, Rick. The only reason your mad about what I'm wearing is that you think I'm cheating on you. Which quite frankly, considering the way you've been acting, I'm seriously considering". Candace could see the hurt in Rick's eyes. Despite how he behaved, Rick truly loved Candace and only wanted the best for her. Candace knew this, but sometimes Rick's insecurity was a little too much. "Your breakfast is on the table" she said quietly and grabbed her breifcase, slipping out the bedroom door.
