Gina laid back on the sofa, swishing a tall glass of wine, deep in thought. Gregg and her had spent the entire day at Central Park, chatting. Normally, Gina found talking boring and uneventful but with Gregg, it seemed different. Chatting with Gregg was calming, almost therapeutic. Gina rarely felt homicidal when she was around Gregg. She felt remorse for the murders she had commited the night before. It wasn't right to Gregg for her to live this secret life and keep him in the dark. She had begun to feel more human after marrying Gregg. As if loving him was making her less psychotic. And for the first time ever she didn't care. She wanted to be better, to develop a heart, feelings. Her urges to kill were slowly dying down and she was oddly happy about it.
Gregg slipped into the hotel, careful not to show much of his face. He sauntered over to the front desk. "Hello. I'm here to see Ms. Tate. I'm Michael " he breathed, a little too fast. The hotel clerk, flipped her hair in a ditsy manner and flashed a false smile. "Of course Mr. Michael. She will be in room 204" she replied. Gregg turned and rolled his eyes. He could have been anyone and the lady sent him up without any inspection or question. What an idiot. Gregg arrived at room 204 and gently knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Candace dressed in nothing but a silk pink bathrobe. Gregg stepped in and shut the door behind him, slowly wrapping his arms around Candace ' s waist and pulling her in for a kiss. Candace tilted her head and returned it, running her fingers through his messy brown hair. She pulled back. "What did you tell Gina" she asked. Gregg smiled. "I told her I was out buying groceries for our date night". A devious smirk crossed Candace ' s face and she slowly slid onto the hotel bed. Gregg wasted no time in unzipping his hoodie and loosening his belt. "She had no idea" Candace said. "And she never will. We both have to keep it that way. Despite what's going on here I still do love her. She can't know what's up between us" Gregg said a little more sternly". Candace simply snickered. "Shut up and get over here" she retorted patting the spot next to her on the bed. Gregg cleared his mind of anything Gina and hurried over to the bed.
