Chapter 17

Finally, we are here in the Philippines.

Buhat ni Daddy si Maki dahil sobrang himbing pa rin itong natutulog, it is past 4:47am, kahit nga ako ay inaantok pa.

At mukhang mamamahay kami nito dahil magkaiba ang oras sa America at kumpara sa pinas.

I called Kuya to inform them that we are here.

I can see him now, with Ally, I happily greeted them with a warm hug and kisses in their cheeks.

"Welcome back, Hottie." Ally winked as he said it. Inilingan ko lamang ito.

"Kuya."

"It's been a long time, finally, you're back. If it's not because of my birthday, you'd never come here back." naruon ang pagtatampo sa boses niya, niyakap ko ito ng mahigpit.

"I miss you, kuya. I really do."

"7 years is enough Sandra, stay here for good." sabi nito, hindi ko siya kinibo, I can't promise that, not until I found a thousand reason to stay here, but to answer him, it is too early, naninigurado lang ako.

Besides, I still have three weeks to think, at kasama ko si Maki, maipapasyal ko siya sa magagandang pasyalan dito sa pinas.

Niyakap naman ako ng bata, hinalikan ko ito sa nuo at sinuklay ang buhok niya gamit ang mga kamay ko.

"I have a name, Maki, and not my dad's name." he corrected, and everyone laughed and adored his cuteness, kuya just smiled at kinuha si Maki, who didn't protest.

Mukhang okay na si Maki sa  Tito Drick niya, may makakasama na rin ako sa pag-aalaga.

After we eat, dumeritso na agad kami sa bahay at naroon sila Nanay Belen at ag anak nitong si Nira, they are trusted staff. Bingay ko sa kanila iyong mga pasalubong ko, they thanked me.

Nagkwekwentuhan naman sika Daddy, Mommy, kuya at Ally.

As long as I want to join with their conversation, nagpaalam muna ako oara ihatid si Maki sa kwarto, he's exhausted due to the long way trip.

"If you're sleepy, just sleep, baby, tired?" Tanong ko, tumango naman ito at humiga. I kiss her forehead at tinawagan ang magaling niyang ama na agad namang sinagot ang tawag ko.

"We are here."

"Gladly, how's philippines?" tanong niya, as if naman magagala ko agad ang pilipinas e kararating lang namin.

"Nothing change, except peoples, siguro naman nagbago, I don't know, let's see these coming days. Wanna talk Maki?" tanong ko, nag request naman ito ng Video call kaya in-accept ko at ibingay iyon kay Maki.
