I JUST NOTICED I HAVENT BEEN TELLING YOU WHO THE PICTURES WERE OF.. I APOLOGIZE. THE PROLOGUE HAD A PICTURE OF AMELIA, CHAPTER ONE HAD A PICTURE OF ANGELICA, CHAPTER TWO HAD A PICTURE OF MICHAEL, AND THIS CHAPTER HAS A PICTURE OF BRENDEN!

Since neither of us can drive we asked Angelica's mom to take us to the beach. Hayley wanted to go so she came along.

In the car we blasted so many songs from 104.7. We rolled all the windows down so the wind will blow through our hair. Plus we all wore sunglasses.

I changed into gray shorts that had white lace on the side with the same white crop top, and I got white flip flops.

My bathing suit was underneath just like the rest of us.

Hayley wore a her bathing suit as a shirt and had a black skirt that went to mid thigh, with flip flops as well.

And Angelica had her bathing suit as a hurt with the same shorts she had on earlier, with flip flops.

As I tied my hair into a bun I looked out the window and thought of how this would distract me.

"Amelia?" Hayley says from the passenger seat.

I look towards her,"Yea?"

"You ok?" She asks. Angelica looks from out the window to me with a frown on her face.

"She's ok." Angelica says as I say," Yea."

"Alright." Is all she says when she looks back at the road. Her and her mom start talking about something while I share a glance with Angelica.

We play in the water, then we go out further so that the water was up to out chest.

"I couldn't think of a better place. Isn't this wonderful." She looks at the sky.

"Yea. It's nice." I say while moving my arms in a swimming motion.

"Girls!!!!" A guy from shore says.

We both turn as he motions me to come back. He's standing next to a girl dressed in this dress that you put on over a wet bathing suit and a sun hat.

As Angelica and I get closer we realize who the two are.

Brenden in a life guard outfit.
And his girlfriend with the dress and hat.

"Oh.. Hey." He says.

"Amelia. Let's go." Angelica says pulling at my arm trying to get me away.

"No wait hold on." I look from Angelica to Brenden.

"Can we talk?" I ask him.

His girlfriend looks at me then to Brenden, so does Angelica.

"Sure." He says.

I look around," Alone?"

"Let's go Elizabeth." Angelica offers her her slow so they can link theirs together, but Elizabeth looks at her weirdly.

"What?" Angelica says," Don't look at me like that!"

I hold in a giggle as they walk of.

"Let's go inside." He says as he walks up the ramp.

"Ok." I say under my breath as I follow him.

He closes the door.

"This was supposed to be a day I finally let go of things. Why are you here?!" I ask impatiently.

"It's my shift today.." He crosses his arms over his chest.

"But.... Did you know I would be coming in anyway?" I ask carefully.

"Please.... I would be insane if I did. That's creepy." He says.

"Just asking." I say as I walk towards the door with my hand on the knob.

He stops me," I know this isn't what you wanted to talk about. Was it about my text?" He asks facing me.

"...no" I say.

"Yes it was." He says laughing.

"It really wasn't I just wanted to to know why you were here."

"He wants to start texting and talking to you like normal friends. He says he feels like a jerk because he hasn't talked to you since.." He explains.

There was silence.

"Is that-" I cut him off.

"Yea thanks." Is running out the door.

I stand with my feet in the water thinking as I stare out into the distance.

Totally unaware of Angelica coming towards me full speed.

"AHHHH!" I scream, running away from her.

She chases me till we are back where our stuff is.

"Get away girls." Her mom smiles.

"Mom!" She complains.

We both walk away towards the water and she looks at me noticing something is wrong.

"This beach trip isn't ruined." She says.

"I know but Brenden told me something." I say looking at her.

She stops walking," What?"

I stop in front of her.

"He said he wants to talk and text with me like friends do because he felt bad that he didn't talk to me since.."

"And?" She says.

"That was it." I say. I look down at the sand.

"Amelia." She says making me raise my head.

"Do you want to go home?" She whispered.

"No." I said. I turned to run towards the water but I hit a body.

We both screamed and I heard Angelica gasp.

"Amelia!" She screamed and came to me.

I look up to see the girl, Elizabeth.

"What was that for?" She yelled while cleaning herself.

"You were the one behind me." I say as I lay back down.

"True." She says.

"What were you doing standing right behind me though?!" I ask get mating frustrated.

Angelica helps me stand and Elizabeth gets up as well.

"I meant to say something." She says crossing her arms.

"What is it you-" I cut Angelica off.

"Be quiet.." I hiss.

"I came to say that you need to stay away from my boyfriend.." She says.

"I wasn't hitting on him."

"How do I know that?" She says being a stuck up bastard.

"Look she was talking to Brenden about... Someone.." Angelica says.

"How do I know that either?!!!" She sounding demanding.

"Look Elizabeth...." I smile kindly," get your nose out my business. I don't need anyone else in my bullshit. I don't need more people than I already have. So you can take your ass back to your boyfriend and keep him all to yourself. Nobody else but you are hitting on him." I smile and wave before I walk towards the water.

I look back to see Angelica talking to her.

"Before you piss me off you better be running back to your boyfriend like a lil bitch." She snarls.

She comes towards me.

"I got chu." She smiles before she splashes me with water.

I laugh and we start splashing each other.
