My mom drives me to my dad's house after stopping for Breakfast at IHOP.
"He has someone for me to meet." I say while playing with the bottom of my black V-neck shirt.
"Yea?"
"Yup. I don't feel like meeting new people." I say looking up and out of the window.
"You never do. Just take this chance. You may never know!" My mom says making her 'Take a risk' lectures start small.
"Nah." I saw when we pull up into the driveway.
I take a deep breath as I see a car already parked into drive.
"Looks like they are here." My mom says as she parks out on the street.
"Great." I say getting my bags of clothes and shoes.
"Have everything?" My mom says before getting out the car.
"Yea." I say already out.
I was up the porch steps and wait for my mom.
When she gets there she rings the doorbell and hugs me.
"Love you mom." I say.
"Love you too honey have fun." She kisses my forehead and white away her makeup.
"Hello." My dad says to us.
"I heard we have a visitor." My mom says.
"Oh. Are you staying?" He asks.
"No. I have things planned already. Thanks though." She says.
"Don't drink too much now!" She says before she hugs me then thanks my dad for taking care of me.
"Well come on in." My dad steps out the doorway. As soon as I enter I feel a heavy presence.
I look around for her. You already know it's a girl.
"In the living room." He smiles as he takes my bags.
I walk in carefully. And there stands a black haired woman.
I died my hair a light color but I originally my hair was a dark brown like my mom's with streaks of black hair but you could barley see it.
She faces me and her eyes were brown.
"Hi." I smile.
"Hello, I'm Anna!" She says.
"Nice to meet you." I say not wanting to shake her hand.
"Not to be rude but who are you?" I ask.
She looks at my dad with a big smile plastered on her face.
"We are engaged." My dad says walking to her and kissing her cheek.
"Oh my.." I say under my breath.

Honestly I think updating a little is better than nothing :)
