The atmosphere in the Forger household buzzed with a mix of excitement and chaos as Kaito returned home from his Eden Academy interview. He opened the door to find Anya sprawled on the living room floor, surrounded by her toys, attempting to teach a stuffed bear how to read.

"Welcome back, Kaito!" Anya chirped, her pink hair bouncing. "Did you beat the interviewers? Did they ask you about your superpowers?"

Kaito chuckled, shaking his head. "Not quite. They just wanted to know how much I could withstand their grilling."

"Did you tell them you can lift heavy things? Like my teddy bear?" Anya exclaimed, looking at her toy with great admiration.

"Uh, I think they meant more like how well I can handle stress," Kaito replied, ruffling her hair. "But I guess I could have just flexed my muscles."

Loid, leaning against the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee, raised an eyebrow. "Did they put you through the wringer? I hope you didn't give away any state secrets, like how to cook spaghetti."

Kaito rolled his eyes. "No, but I did tell them how to make toast—definitely a classified recipe."

Anya bounced up, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Can we celebrate with a spaghetti dinner? I want to eat the long noodles like a real superhero!"

"Only if you promise not to set the kitchen on fire this time," Loid said dryly, already heading to the pantry.

As they gathered in the kitchen, Kaito found himself swept up in Anya's whirlwind of enthusiasm. She zoomed around the kitchen, grabbing ingredients like a tiny tornado.

"Okay, Kaito! You chop the vegetables, and I'll stir the sauce!" Anya declared, thrusting a giant knife into his hands with all the authority of a general commanding troops.

"Uh, are you sure about this?" Kaito asked, eyeing the knife nervously.

"Just pretend the veggies are villains and chop them like a superhero!" Anya insisted, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Right, because nothing says heroism like a good chopping block," Kaito muttered, cautiously starting to slice the vegetables. Anya stood beside him, bouncing on her heels.

"Superheroes don't take their time!" she shouted, "Go faster!"

With Anya's relentless energy pushing him, Kaito picked up the pace, desperately trying to keep the kitchen from resembling a disaster zone. "I didn't sign up for this kind of training!" he joked.

"Welcome to the superhero training camp!" Anya declared, her arms raised like she had just won a battle. "First lesson: Make a mess, then clean it up!"

As they prepared dinner, Loid quietly observed, trying to hide a smile. "Just remember, the only superpower in the kitchen is avoiding food fights. Last time, I had spaghetti on the ceiling."

"That was an accident!" Anya protested, giggling.

Dinner was finally ready, and the table was set—sort of. Anya had arranged the cutlery in a way that suggested she was preparing for a medieval feast rather than a family dinner. "Look, Kaito! I made a fort with the forks!"

"Impressive! But I think the food might go missing if we don't keep an eye on it," Kaito replied, trying to stifle a laugh.

As they dug into their meal, the spaghetti quickly turned into a competition. Anya twirled her noodles like a champion, slurping loudly. "I'm the fastest spaghetti eater in the world!"

"More like the loudest," Kaito shot back, laughing as he tried to outdo her. He managed to get a huge forkful into his mouth, only to have half of it fall back onto his plate.

"I think you need to train harder," Anya teased, sticking her tongue out.

Loid watched them, shaking his head in amusement. "You two are going to attract every stray cat in the neighborhood with that racket."

"Maybe we should train them to be superheroes too!" Anya suggested with wide eyes.

"And by 'train,' you mean 'feed,' right?" Kaito smirked, already plotting ways to lure cats into their home.

Once dinner was over, the kitchen looked like a spaghetti tornado had hit it. Anya had managed to get sauce on her forehead, and Kaito had a noodle draped across his shoulder like a very unwelcome scarf.

"Look, we've defeated the kitchen!" Anya exclaimed, raising her hands in triumph.

"More like we've declared war on cleanliness," Kaito replied, surveying the battlefield. "I think I saw a meatball roll under the fridge."

Loid chuckled, clapping his hands together. "Alright, team! We need a cleanup mission. Anya, you handle the sauce splatters. Kaito, you're on dish duty. And I'll take care of...whatever survived the cooking process."

As they cleaned up, Kaito couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging. This quirky family dynamic was nothing like he had experienced before, and it was oddly comforting.

"So, Kaito," Anya said suddenly, her voice serious again. "Do you think we'll be able to take on the world together? Like real superheroes?"

Kaito paused, considering her words. "Absolutely. But first, we need to work on your sauce-slinging skills."

Anya's eyes lit up. "Yes! Sauce-slinging training starts tomorrow!"
