3: Rowen

This story has a side plot involving two boys who are at Caesars school in his grade.

Rowens POV

I hopped on the bus and waved to my idiot friend Tucker.
Recently, I've been feeling a little different around him. Today was by far the worst.
"Rowen, sup!" he called to me. I smiled and clapped his hand.
I took my usual seat by him as he towered over me. Another boy, younger than us, came on and sat across from me and Tucker. His name was.. Brycen? I believe. He was alright. a bit weird, but he played guitar, which was cool. His sister sat diagonal from us and was always quiet.

He started our usual banter as heat grew on my cheeks, a feeling I'd gotten used to. I feeling I understood as Tucker called to Brycen's sister.
"Hey! Heyyy!" he screamed. I chimed in.
"Yo! Tucker has a crush on you!" I joked. My heart cracked a bit.
She rolled her eyes and Tucker laughed. "Hey I'm just kidding haha" I said to her. We started a conversation and her brother became the topic. She pulled out her phone and showed us a picture of us with an interesting caption.

"My brother toook this of you. It says "Look at these gay ass bitches" She laughed. Tucker laughed. I did not. I liked Tucker, didn't I? That's just great. I had a whole girlfriend! Tucker was...goofy, if you could put it that way. A kook.

But as I looked at Tucker and just smiled, I realized that he was already mine. In the exact way I wanted.

Because on his face, a blush grew as well, and he held my hand.

Maybe this was going to be an easy journey.
