Her cries to the sun went unheard
So to to the moon, she muttered
A plea to be seen
The moon bestowed a curse as a blessing
With eyes like commets
She heard the moons murmers
She would be able to weep with the woods
Speak with the stars
Talk in tongues to the terrain
Arms spread open
The moons' words rang true
She could understand the universe and everything in it
But when she screamed, her fellow humans did not balk
To them she could not talk
For nobody could understand her
Not in the way she understood them
