I love our memories
The ones where we dance with the rain
I never thought I would ever have to miss you
You were my platonic soulmate
I knew you were hurting
But I thought I was enough to ease that hurt
Then slowly, you left me
Turning to drugs instead of love
Alcohol was worth more than our friendship
I tried to help, but it wasn't enough
I'll forever wait for you
When you realize the pain of addiction is no better then the pain of your past
I'll help you restore yourself
