Under a frozen lake
Lies a woman impaled by a stake
Everyone says this legend is fake
But here's how this tale is told
There was once a girl who fell in the waters
The waves seemed to be a sweet kiss
So she went down under
She splashed and splished
And put her head under
Only when in need of air
The lake didn't care
The top was frozen
No room for even a hair
She cried and shreiked
Push and pulled against the ice
Anger was her only vice
The people who heard simply
Did not care
Her lungs willed with water
Her shreiks turned into nothing more
Then thin air
With no fight left
She went down deep
With no way out
She made peace
And is now deceased
