When they called her sunshine
The word rebounded
No light shined on her
Only the soft hue of the moon
She was moonlight
The mist that
shrouded the mountains
The fog rolling among the
Oceans waves
The bite of lightning
Before the oncoming storm
The shadows of branches on a window
The eery calm of silent moments
The ones who called her sunshine
Had no idea
Who she was
Or what she could be
