SIYA POV :
The moment I stepped onto Aryan’s office floor, I felt a fire burning within me. After everything that had happened with Advik, and after being humiliated and heartbroken at his school, I was done waiting. I was going to confront Aryan, and nothing would stop me.
I made my way toward his office, but as I got closer, I overheard voices drifting from inside. I stopped, curiosity and dread swirling together. It was Aryan and his friends talking—about me.
One of his friends chuckled. “Honestly, Aryan, why don’t you just leave Siya? Jennifer’s way more beautiful, and she’s the perfect match for you. That’s why you planned all this with Advik, right? To make him see Jennifer as his mom so it would be easier for you to move on?”
Another friend laughed, adding, “Yeah, man, what’s the holdup? You’ve got Jennifer and Advik. Divorce Siya and be done with it. Isn’t that what you wanted from the beginning?”
My stomach twisted as their words sank in. Aryan had been plotting all along? He’d been letting Jennifer get close to Advik to replace me in their lives? And yet, I heard Aryan’s voice, sounding hesitant and almost regretful.
“I don’t know,” Aryan murmured. “I thought this would be easier. But… I feel guilty now, and I don’t think I want to leave Siya. I don’t know if I can do it.”
I gripped the handle, breathing heavily, my mind a whirlwind of pain and fury. But just as I was about to push the door open, Aryan’s phone rang. He glanced at the screen and quickly picked up.
“Yes, Jennifer?” he said. A look of worry washed over his face. “What? Advik’s hurt? You’re at the hospital now?”
The color drained from my face as the realization hit me—my son was hurt. Before I could even step in, Aryan flung the door open, coming face-to-face with me. His friends stared, their smug expressions turning into smirks.
“Oh, now I get it,” one of them sneered, casting me a disdainful look. “That’s why you can’t leave her, huh? She’s a looker. But Jennifer’s still better for you, don’t you think?”
I shot a furious glance at Aryan, ignoring the snide comments. “Which hospital?” I demanded, my voice cold.
Aryan stammered, but he managed to tell me the hospital name. Without another word, I turned on my heel and left, feeling his hurried footsteps behind me as he tried to keep up.
“Siya, please, just let me explain,” Aryan called out as we reached the parking lot.
“Not now, Aryan,” I snapped, getting into my car and driving off without waiting for him.

**At the Hospital**
When I arrived at the hospital, I rushed to the reception to find out where Advik was. Aryan showed up moments later, looking frantic, but I brushed him off and went straight to my son’s room. There, I saw Advik lying on the bed, his little hand wrapped in bandages.
Jennifer was hovering near him, a faux expression of concern on her face. She tried to step forward, but I ignored her completely and went straight to Advik.
“Advik, my love, what happened?” I asked softly, gently stroking his hair.
He pulled his hand away, scowling at me. “I hurt myself because I want you to leave Daddy. I want you to divorce him so my real mommy can be with us.”
The words felt like knives plunging into my heart. I tried to hold back the tears welling up in my eyes. “Advik, I am your mommy. I love you more than anything—”
But before I could say anything more, a wave of dizziness washed over me. I stumbled, and the world began to spin as darkness closed in around me. The last thing I heard was Advik’s voice, echoing through my mind with a cold finality: “I don’t want you to be my mommy.”
And then, everything went black.
