SIYA POV :

Siya slowly opened her eyes, squinting at the harsh white lights above. It took her a moment to recognize where she was-the sterile smell and soft beeping of machines reminded her she was in a hospital room. As she shifted slightly, she felt a strange mix of exhaustion and numbness. The memories of everything that had happened rushed back, her heart aching as she recalled Advik's words and the betrayal she had uncovered.

Just then, a nurse entered the room with a warm smile.

"Oh, you're awake! Good to see you up," she said kindly, checking Siya's vitals. "Congratulations, by the way. You're pregnant."

Siya's eyes widened in surprise. Pregnant. She placed a trembling hand over her stomach, feeling a strange surge of emotions. She felt a glimmer of happiness, but it was overshadowed by the turmoil swirling inside her heart. The thought of bringing another life into the world should have been joyous, yet the chaos in her marriage made it almost unbearable to think of raising this child with Aryan.

Before she could fully process her emotions, Aryan rushed into the room, relief and joy evident on his face. Without a word, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly.

"Siya, this is incredible news! Now... now everything will be back on track because of this baby. This can fix everything. We can have a fresh start," he murmured, his voice filled with hope.

Siya didn't respond, her body stiff and unyielding in his embrace. She felt no warmth, no comfort, nothing for the man she had once loved so deeply. His words only added to the bitterness she felt.

In a cold, measured tone, she finally spoke, "No, Aryan. I don't want you in my life anymore. I did so much for you in the past six years. After she left you, I was the one who was there. I gave you my love, my loyalty, my entire heart, hoping I could heal your wounds. But all you did was use me."

Aryan looked taken aback, his grip on her loosening. "Siya, I... I know I made mistakes. I was confused. But I love you, I really do. Please, just give me a chance to fix this. I'll get things back to how they were-"

Siya cut him off, her voice sharp and unyielding. "After Jennifer left you, you came to me because I was convenient, someone to fill the emptiness. And now that she's back in your life, suddenly, I'm dispensable? I will leave, Aryan, but I'm not going without my son. You won't take Advik from me, and I'll raise this baby on my own. I don't need you, Aryan. I refuse to let you drag my children into whatever twisted plans you have."

He tried to reach for her hand, desperation in his eyes. "Please, Siya. I was just... I was just lost. I'll make everything right. I can't lose you. I'll do anything-"

Siya pulled her hand away, her face set in a firm, cold expression. Without another word, she turned to the nurse who had been waiting by the door.

"Nurse, please make sure no one enters this room. Not even my husband. I need rest," she said with a steady tone, ignoring Aryan's protests.

The nurse nodded and guided Aryan out, despite his pleading and promises. As the door finally closed and silence filled the room, Siya's cold facade melted, and the weight of her grief settled over her. She lay back on the bed, tears streaming down her face as the pain poured out.

With a trembling hand, she placed it gently on her stomach, her voice soft and tender as she spoke to her unborn child, "I'm so sorry you have to go through this, little one. But I promise, I'll protect you. I'll keep you safe, just like I'll protect your brother. We'll get through this together. Mommy's here for you."

As she whispered to her unborn baby, her heartache seemed to ease just a little, knowing that her love and strength would be enough for her children, with or without Aryan.
