My heart goes out to all of you guys out there who are currently fearing for their lives/rights following this election. 🫂🫂 America has once again failed all of its minorities.
Women have voted against their rights
Gay people have voted against their rights
POC have voted against their rights
My heart breaks knowing the future we are heading towards. The uncertainty of my rights as a queer woman, the uncertainty of the rights of my family and friends. I am afraid for what the world will become. I am afraid for our democracy. I am afraid.
If you voted anything but blue, I hope it was worth it. I hope that stripping away rights from millions was worth it.
Voting for a man that's a direct threat to our democracy. A man that is, not only a rapist/offender, but a felon as well; Voting for a felon in a country where felons can't vote. A man who is openly racist, homophobic, and sexist. A man who wants to be exactly as hitler was. Voting for man who is going to take everything away from those of us who aren't a rich white male. Truly, I hope it was worth it.
And to my lgbt, women, & poc friends, please stay safe. I know it may not feel like it, but your life MATTERS. Don't let these people take you.
