"We're gonna go find this 'zooplankton' stuff and then I'll be back, okay?" Agatha said, leading me to a nearby chair.
"No." I gripped her arm tightly. "Please don't leave me alone.. not again." I whispered."Okay." She wrapped an arm around my shoulder. "Come on Lilia, times not going any slower." She said quickly, ushering Lilia through the doorway. "Andale."
We made our way through the house, stopping when we found the garage. "No car. No gas." Lilia muttered as Agatha flicked on the lights.
"Are we looking for petroleum?" I asked, having not been present for whatever conversation had gone down between them.
"Yes." Lilia responded."To the bathroom." I grabbed both women's hands and quickly making my way down the hall, stopping once we found the bathroom.
"Why the bathroom?" Agatha questioned."Petroleum jelly!" We looked around the room, the jelly no where in sight.
"Of course Jen's skincare made it to the road." Agatha's scoffed in annoyance."But it's all organic, right? I mean, there's no petroleum in there."
"Mmm." Agatha hummed, gathering some of the products into her hands. "I know a snake oil salesman when I see one. I say we call her bluff."Lilia looked down at the product in her hand quizzically. "Try to save Agatha!" She said, making me jump at the sudden noise.
I locked eyes with Agatha, both of us sharing a look of confusion. "Uh... Yes, I love this plan. I- I just think we should find the ingredients first though, right?""Mhmm." Lilia nodded, turning to grab the rest of the products on the shelf.
"Right. Okay..." Agatha said quietly, looking to me with slightly widened eyes. 'What the fuck?' She mouthed, earning yet another smack from me."Let's just get the stuff and go back to the kitchen." I said, struggling to shove a few items into my pockets. "God, my hands feel fuzzy." I said, shaking them a bit to try and wake them up.
"Alright let's move, quickly." Agatha said, wrapping an arm around me and practically sprinting back down the hallway.
"Wait." I stopped her, noticing the lack of Lilia's presence. Despite the ache in my body, I detached myself from Agatha and headed back the direction we came.I watched as Lilia backed out of a room, terror clear in her face. As quick as I could, I rushed over to her, catching her just as she was about to hit the wall behind her. "Lilia?"
She looked back to me with tears in her eyes, gasping for breath. "Morti![She's dead!] Tutti morti sunnu![They're all dead!]" She cried.(Ignore the translation, I tried to get it to be the exact way Lilia had said the sentences... but translate was not working with me.)
Agatha looked to her with a look I'd never imagine. She looked to her with empathy. Like she actually cared. "Okay." She whispered, helping me to lead Lilia out of the hallway.
"Okay, we got ours. What's next?" Agatha yelled as we all slowly limped into the room.
Glass cracking gathered our attention, all of us turning to face the window that caused it. "What is that?" Agatha asked, the coven moving towards the glass."Is that.."
"Saltwater." Jen finished as she tasted a bit of the water that spilled through.
"Are we underwater right now?" Teen asked."No teen, it's just a high tide." I snapped, the irritation finally getting to me. "Can we make this fucking antidote already?" I looked to Jen, the woman nodding at me as she led us back to the kitchen.
The others picked Sharon up on the way and brought her to lay on a table closer by.
