"How do you know?" Alice asked.
"I just do." I replied, moving away from the group. "I'm gonna go stretch my legs."
No one said a word or tried to stop me as I walked away. We all needed a breather, and they knew that. Experiencing something so traumatic and losing someone in the process, it takes a lot out of people. Knowing Sharon was safe, that she was happy, was able to ease my mind a bit.
But not being able to see her death coming, that scared me. My powers have never failed me like that before. I've always been able to see impending doom; The near future. But with Sharon, I saw nothing. Maybe that's because she was at peace with going, or maybe she wasn't meant to die here. The others, their deaths are marked. The road is meant to take them. But Sharon, she was never supposed to be here."You see death." Lilia said softly from behind me. I listened to the leaves crunch as she got closer. "You are haunted by death." She circled around my body, standing directly in front of me.
Slowly, her hands reached up and touched my face. "How do you live with it?" She asked in a slight whisper."Death is all I've known." I whispered back. "I grew up with Death."
"I did too." She responded, her breath fanning my face. "You and me... we aren't so different."In that moment, I finally understood. The pull I felt from her, we've been intertwined with each other's lives since the beginning. All she's known is my family.

"You guys finally done making out." Agatha mocked as me and Lilia returned to the group.
"What? Are you jealous?" I smirked, watching as her jaw dropped slightly. "I'm gonna go help teen with Sharon's grave." I said to Lilia, dropping her hand and walking away."Thank you for doing this." I said, picking up some nearby wood and helping him dig.
"It's no problem, honestly." He smiled, continuing to form the grave. After a few moments of silence, he looked over to me and asked "How do you know she's with her husband?"I placed the log down, climbing out of the hole we created. "If we make it off the road alive, I'll tell you." I smiled. "Can't give away all my secrets."
"You guys need a hand?" Alice asked, picking up the wood I had just set down and joining teen in the hole.
"The more the merrier." I said, looking down to them."Judgement." I heard Lilia gasp, forcing my attention to land on her.
"What?" Jen asked.
"Nothing." She waved off, her eyes catching mine again.[Judgement- awakening, decision making, redemption, reincarnation, renewal, and transition.]
As I moved to walk over to her, Agatha stood up right and sighed. "R.I.P. Mrs Hart." She said flatly, earning a slight glare from Jen and myself. "Well," She said, clapping her hands together. "Shall we?" She smiled, turning and swinging her coat as she walked away.
No one moved, only staring at her. "Okay." She sighed, returning to the group. "So, what's the problem now?"
"A woman is dead, Agatha." Lilia responded.
"Yes, and Alice and teen are kindly digging a grave for her. So they'll catch up when they can. Vamonos." She said, repeating the same movements from earlier.Still, we stayed put. "Okay." She whispered, moving to stand in front of us. "Mrs Hart was a bad draft pick, okay? Of course the road killed her. More power for the rest of us." She grinned, while making grabby hands.
