Andy's POV

Mikey looked up at me and smiled weakly. "I trust you," and in that moment I knew he had just given me his heart and that he really did trust me, that until Gerard came back he was in my hands.

It stung to know that when Gerard was back he was probably going to leave me, but I had to pretend because I was nothing without Mikey.

As we walked up to the door of my house I realized one of my candles had gone out and I immediately went to go light it.

Mikey watched with a fond look on his face and then walked over to me. "Why do you keep them lit?" I smiled, I knew he'd ask one day and when I answered I knew he'd want the candles lit too.

"My mother..before she passed away she always.." I paused because although I had been dying to tell this story it was still hard to talk about my mother.

"Before she passed away and all she kept candles lit in the window. Only at night though. I asked her about it, and she said 'I keep them lit because there's always light in the darkness and I want every one who see 's this house to know that.' I figured after she died I would need to know no matter what I had light in my darkness. Because even when it's light out, there can be clouds in front of the sun."

He smiled at me and rubbed my back soothingly, "That's beautiful." He murmured and I smiled.

"Do you believe that? I mean..look at these.. aren't they beautiful? Don't they just make you feel comfortable?" He looked at them for a minute and nodded. "They are... and they make me feel safe.. I love them. And I'll make sure we always keep them lit."

I smiled and looked at him, "I missed us... I missed this.. god.. I love you."

He looked over and smiled. "Lets go to bed.. because I miss you holding me all night." I nodded and picked him up. He blushed and wrapped his legs around my waist and arms around my neck. "I love you... I love you." He repeated himself as we walked up the stairs he stroked my hair.

"I love you too Mikey." I said knowing he just needed comfort. I sat him down and smiled at him before moving to get undressed as he did the same.

I flipped off the light and crawled into bed next to him. He smiled at me and cuddled closer as I wrapped my arms around him. "Sing to me."

I used to sing to him a lot, I loved to sing and I sang to him almost every night. They were always songs I wrote. "What song?" He smiled at me, "Ritual."

I kissed the back of his forehead as he closed his eyes and awaited for me to sing him to sleep.

Praying for what your heart brings

He relaxed and sighed In relief
Thoughts of escape and bloodshot eyes
You're barely sleeping, no longer dreaming
Now what you do to feel alive

His facial expression was completely relaxed and his breathing slowed down.

Rise up and celebrate your life
We're not alone in our ritual
Sing for what you feel inside
Becoming one with our ritual

He was probably surely asleep but just to make sure I sang a few more verses.

Singing songs of the old days
Try to remember what's gone by
Stronger in new ways
Don't care what they say,
This is your life
It's time to rejoice

Rise up and celebrate your life
We're not alone in our ritual
Sing for what you feel inside
Becoming one with our ritual

Our destiny is what we learned
Together wanting something more
Their misery and demons burn
A feeling that's worth fighting for.

He was obviously asleep by now and I decided it'd be safe for me to sleep now.

Mikeys dream.

There was white all over, every object in the hospital like hallway was white, and the nurses outfits were white as well. It was completely empty in the area and silent until there was a blood curling scream and a bunch of nurses burst in pushing a bed with a blood covered man on it. The man looked so familiar, he was pale, and he had white hair, his eyes were Brown and filled with terror from what I could see. Gerard! It was like some dead second version of him.

As the bed got closer the nurses looked more and more abnormal, purple rimmed eyes and blank faces. They began to slow down as they neared me. From what I could see Gerard was screaming and struggling as blood poured from his wrists and somewhere beneath his clothing. I wanted to scream back, to ask what was going on but I had no voice. It was like I wasn't even there but he was staring right at me while he was screaming.

Blood was smeared all over the bed, the nurses, and he was covered in it. It was trailing behind the bed and somehow splattering onto all the walls.

There was blood everywhere and the bed was moving past me now but Gerard was fighting to keep eye contact.

"Help! Don't let them take me! Please, I won't do it again. I'm fine! Help me! Mikey! Mikey why don't you love me! I hate you!"

Two hospital doors slammed and I was left in the bloody mess.

Andy's POV

Mikey was screaming and squirming in his sleep. I shook him but nothing was working, I sighed and grabbed a strand of his hair and slapped him as hard as I could.
