The date❤️

She went back home and took a bubble bath, a well deserved one and after that she started getting ready. She texted tim her address and started getting ready. She did a very simple and elegant make up and wore her new dress and new shoes. She kept admiring herself in the mirror while she imagined how he would react when he sees her, then she remembered how she dressed up for james just for him to take her to a bar. She had a feeling this time it would be different.

She finished getting ready and got her neighbor to dogsit for her as usual.

She heard a car pull up to her driveway so she checked to see who it was. It was tim of course. She opened the door before he could even get to the door.

His eyes widened and his face brightened up when he saw her. He went up to her and pulled out flowers from his back which he was hiding. She smiled and went up to him.

Lucy: hey
Tim: hello, you look amazing
Lucy: as do you
Tim: are you ready?
Lucy: yes I am
Tim: these are for you
Lucy: they are pretty, thanks
Tim: shall we
Lucy: let me grab my purse real quick
Tim: sure

Lucy ran inside and said goodbye to the dog sitter and to kojo and left. When she stepped out, she saw tim standing holding the door for her. She went up to him and thanked him and entered his truck. He entered the truck and started driving.

Lucy still has PTSD from her last date so she didn't have high hopes for this one.

Lucy wanted to say something but something kept stopping her until tim broke the ice.

Tim: are you nervous? I don't bite
Lucy: no its not that, I guess it's the undercover thing
Tim: ive read your undercover ops, very impressive
Lucy: thanks
Tim: the last one lasted seven months right?
Lucy: six actually
Tim: wow
Lucy: Is aaron aspiring to become a detective?
Tim: whyd you ask?
Lucy: him going deep undercover when he has never been on one
Tim: I wanted it to be someone else, like detective nyla or angela even but he insisted
Lucy: well ill be there to guide him
Tim: im sure you will, can we talk about something else?
Lucy: like what?
Tim: like about you
Lucy: you know some things
Tim: well I want to know all
Lucy: sure okay, but when we get to wherever we are going to
Tim: alright

Tim pulled up to this gigantic beautiful restaurant. Lucy's words slipped from her mouth.

Lucy: oh are we parking here?
Tim: not here, round the back
Lucy: wow, how far are we walking?
Tim: the entrance is at the back
Lucy: the kitchen?
Tim: funny

Lucy was serious and tim thought she was joking. She didn't expect to be taken somewhere this beautiful. When they got close to the entrance, tim parked his truck and went over to lucy's door and opened it for her and helped her get down. She kept starring at the place even when they went in.

Tim spoke to the receptionist about their reservation and they were taken to a private room arranged in a very romantic way. Lucy couldn't believe her eyes.

Lucy: wow
Tim: do you like it?
Lucy: are you kidding me? I love it
Tim: I knew youd like it, just me and you, no noises no chattering just us
Lucy: perfect

Tim pulled out chair for lucy and she sat down then he went to sit down as well.

Tim: so, do you want to order now?
Lucy: im really not that hungry, but you can if you want
Tim: im okay as well, we can order later
Lucy: yes
Tim: so, tell me about you
Lucy: okay, as promised
Tim: yes as promised
Lucy: my name is lucy chen
Tim: (laughs) go on
Lucy: (smiles) I am 29 years old, I work as an FBI agent, been working as one for almost 4 years now
Tim: impressive
Lucy: thanks, I have a dog named kojo..
Tim: wait are you serious?
Lucy: yeah
Tim: no way, I love dogs
Lucy: me too!!! He is literally my child
Tim: can I meet him?
Lucy: only if this date goes well, I have a good feeling it will
Tim: me too, so go on
Lucy: okay, I have two dads and a mom
Tim: oh, em
Lucy: not the way you think, a bio dad, step dad and a bio mom
Tim: oh I understand now
Lucy: I studied psychology in collage
Tim: that's actually pretty cool
Lucy: oh yeah?
Tim: yeah
Lucy: I love nature also
Tim: I know, I saw your house
Lucy: you haven't even seen the inside
Tim: (laughs) okay my turn
Lucy: okay
Tim: my name is timothy Bradford
Lucy: nice to meet you tim
Tim: likewise
Lucy: go on
Tim: I am 39
Lucy: I would have sworn you were 30
Tim: wow
Lucy: yeah
Tim: well, I have been a police officer for a while now and I  became a sergent over a year ago, I used to be a training officer
Lucy: oh wow, did you train thorsen?
Tim: oh no, detective nyla did
Lucy: cool cool
Tim: I also served some tours
Lucy: omg, I didn't know I went out with an army guy
Tim: surprise!
Lucy: okay go on
Tim: I have a sister, genny
Lucy: oh wow, you did give off older brother vibes though
Tim: I get that, so do you have any siblings?
Lucy: no, im an only child
Tim: your parents must be lucky
Lucy: mhm
Tim: im parched, do you want to order a drink
Lucy: sure why not

Lucy and tim ordered drinks and it was brought to them soon after. They talked for a really long time. Tim the whole time felt like he was on cloud nine and lucy felt like she has found the right guy.
They ordered something to eat after a while and after eating, tim and lucy got a picture together.

The date was almost over and it was getting really late.

Lucy: this was really great, I had so much fun
Tim: I had more fun, I hope we can do this again after you get back
Lucy: definitely
Tim: do you want to order any other thing?
Lucy: oh no, im so full, thank you, unless you want to order something
Tim: no no, im good too

Tim called the waiter to bring the bill and he paid and they left.

Tim took lucy back to her place. He walked her to her door. They hugged and she went into her house. She rested her body on the door wondering why she hugged him instead of kissing him. She quickly opened the door and called out his name. he turned around and walked to her and she asked him...

Lucy: do you want to come in

Tim smiled and entered her house and they started making out.

When tim remembered that she is going undercover the next day he stopped.

Lucy: why did you stop?
Tim: you have to get some sleep
Lucy: why?
Tim: you are going undercover tomorrow
Lucy: so?

After hearing that, tim carried on kissing lucy. They ended up on the couch still making out. It was cut short by a phone call. Tim's phone was ringing. He ignored it but it kept ringing so he picked up the phone to check who it was. It was sergent grey. He turned the phone around and showed lucy who it was and she told him to pick up.

Tim picked up the call and spoke with grey for less than a minute. Tim went back to lucy and told her that grey wanted to tell us about the change of plans.
Lucy: what change of plans?
Tim: its nothing big don't worry, it's the time shift, its no longer morning but evening
Lucy: so, that means you can stay the night?
Tim: if youll have me
Lucy: definitely

Lucy and tim ended up watching a show together and tim slept in lucy's guest room.
Lucy raised her concerns about starting a relationship now when she will be gone for months maybe so her and tim made a pact that they will start over again when she gets back.
