BACK AT MID WHILSHERE!!!

Tim got back to the station and was greeted by Nolan. He replied Nolan in a chipper way leaving a confused look on nolan's face. Not that they don't get along, he is just not that nice.

He walked up to angela at her desk and asked to talk to her in private. She stood up looking confused also because he was smiling hard.

They went to the bullpen and tim still couldn't stop smiling.

Tim: so, how is your day going?
Angela: im really not in the mood for jokes, why are you so happy?
Tim: life is beautiful
Angela: it is, now what is going on
Tim: cant a man be happy?
Angela: fair point, tim, whats up
Tim: remember that FBI agent?
Angela: ew yes, the man that stole our case lastweek?
Tim: what? No, the lady that came to our crime scene
Angela: ohhh the cute one who was nice enough to not steal our case
Tim: yes her
Angela: whats her name again? Its something chen
Tim: lucy chen
Angela: right right! Okay, what about her?
Tim: I matched with her on tinder and then today...
Angela: time out, time out, you have tinder? And you matched with an agent? What?!
Tim: I created a profile after Isabel and went by a fake name but the photos were real and so did she
Angela: oh tim, what if she catfished you?
Tim: she didn't, we met today
Angela: where?
Tim: at her work place
Angela: what took you there
Tim: we were called in for a case
Angela: is it the low profile drug lord case?
Tim: correct!
Angela: omg you are also part of it? okay, did you go for her or the case
Tim: what do you think?
Angela: work
Tim: both
Angela: well that's awesome
Tim: why do I feel like you aren't too happy about this?
Angela: don't get me wrong tim, im happy for you, im just tired
Tim: I understand
Angela: and also, id like to meet her she seems like good company
Tim: yeah she does, ill give you her number when I save it
Angela: okay thanks, see you later, I have some work to do, unless youll help me and we will do it together
Tim: don't take advantage of my mood
Angela: please!!!
Tim: okay fine


Back to lucy

After work, lucy was on her way home and tim called her. Her phone was connected to the car.

Tim: hey
Lucy: hey tim
Tim: how is your shift going?
Lucy: im actually off work
Tim: oh, oh I can hear you driving, ill call you back later
Lucy: sure okay


Lucy got back home and called tim back. She didn't realize an hour went by until she saw the time. Basically, when she called him, she was talking to him while she was doing things like, cooking dinner for her and kojo, cleaning up a bit, taking out the trash, basically doing chores. The conversation felt like they both knew each other for the longest time.

She was going to take a shower next so she said goodnight to him and went in. after her shower, as she was getting ready for bed, rob called her and they chatted for 30 mins or more.

Rob: okay start from the beginning
Lucy: so tim came to the office as told by their captain, turns out, he only did that because of me
Rob: what?
Lucy: there is this undercover case he came to talk about but it was meant to be his captain but he insisted
Rob: wow, so was he the one that matched with you or were you catfished?
Lucy: he was the one
Rob: how sure are you?
Lucy: he called me by my decoy name
Rob: which is?
Lucy: Athena wang duh!
Rob: I knew youd like it
Lucy: yeah yeah, anyways, ill be going undercover soon, mllaybe in two days
Rob: can I see the case file tomorrow?
Lucy: yeah, you can ask grace to give you a copy, ill be working with tim tomorrow
Rob: as a date thing?
Lucy: no bobby, as a work thing
Rob: its going to be boring without you
Lucy: youll survive, at least you have Natalia
Rob: what do you mean
Lucy: I saw you two talking
Rob: and imagine though, it wasn't that bad
Lucy: you see, well I have to go, im really tired and I want to make a good impression, bring in my A game you know
Rob: you got this! Best of luck champ!
Lucy: thanks, goodnight



Lucy hung up the phone and went to bed.


The next day, lucy woke up super early because she slept in early. She went to her kitchen and made breakfast for her and kojo, she walked him a little outside and when she came back she took a long hot shower and got ready for work.

She got to mid whilshere soon after because it wasn't far from where she lived. It was a 17 minute drive. When she got there, she smiled at the fact that she went to the Hollywood division looking for tim but he was at this station this whole time.

She walked into the station looking as serious as possible. Oh she looked so good, her perfume, her make up, lets not even go deep into details about her outfit, it was looking good. She was looking good.

She caught the eyes of many. She went to the reception and asked to see tim and showed them her FBI badge and was let in. she walked into the station with one hand in her pocket and the other holding her phone.

As she was heading in to go look for tim, she was stopped by angela.

Angela: looking for someone?
Lucy: oh, detective lopez
Angela: that's me
Lucy: its so good to see you
Angela: so good to see you too, did you come for tim?
Lucy: yeah
Angela: ohhh, date day already?
Lucy: omg, what?
Angela: just kidding, its about the case right?
Lucy: yeah
Angela: ill go look for him, but in the mean time you can go meet our watch commander over there
Lucy: okay thanks

Lucy headed towards grey's office and knocked on the door
Grey signaled for her to come in

Lucy: good morning sir, agent lucy chen with the FBI
Grey: yes, we were told about your visit, come on in
Lucy: everything was briefed yesterday I don't know why I was told to come in
Grey: it's a get to know each other thing, usually when there are collaborations with other fields
Lucy: oh, okay
Grey: I guess this is your first time working with the police?
Lucy: ive worked with the police on so many occasions
Grey: but not undercover
Lucy: yes
Grey: well, I cannot wait for you to work with my finest cops
Lucy: I cant wait too


As lucy and grey were talking, angela came back with tim and they went into grey's office

Angela: found him
Lucy: thank you
Tim: hey, goodmorning
Lucy: (smiles) good morning
Grey: (confused)
Angela: (smiles)
Lucy: so, where to?

Tim and angela took lucy to the interrogation room. Lucy kept looking around but doesn't know why

Angela: not too fancy for you? (smiles)
Lucy: God no, I was just looking
Tim: don't worry, she is just messing with you

As they were working and studying for their roles and also getting to know each other, angela kept looking at tim, then lucy then tim again until she broke her silence.

Angela: so when are you two going on a proper date?
Lucy: proper?
Tim: what do you mean?
Angela: this seems like a date and im the third wheel
Lucy: its not...
Tim: she is messing with me this time
Angela: don't worry about me lucy, I love messing with people
Lucy: I was scared for a second
Angela: no but seriously when?
Tim: (annoyed) we will go when we are ready
Angela: okay then, but just know that this is your first date and you nerds are spending it by working
Tim: go call westley or something
Angela: I will do that in fact, see ya

Angela left the room

Lucy: who is westley?
Tim: he is her boyfriend
Lucy: wait, evers?
Tim: yeah, how did you know?
Lucy: worked with him once, he is such a good lawyer
Tim: I guess he is
Lucy: so can you take me to the costume department


Tim took lucy to the costume department where lucy checked out a bunch of outfits that she can pull together to look like a junkie. The make up and dress up team were informed by tim about the operation and after that they went to tim's desk to chat.

As they were talking, tim spotted aaron and called him over. Tim told him to take lucy to the bullpen to study their roles because they will be working together.

He took lucy there and they started working

Lucy: so basically here it says that we are going to be friends in the drug business
Aaron: right
Lucy: we will move into a messy motel to give the look that we are addicts
Aaron: how many CIs do we have?
Lucy: we have at least six
Aaron: I have one too if needed
Lucy: I guess the more the better
Aaron: so what about our outfits?
Lucy: the costume department are on it, I went there with tim earlier
Aaron: okay okay
Lucy: lets go over my role first
Aaron: okay
Lucy: says here that my name is Jamie tsung, I am 28 years old, I used to work as a chemist until I started using drugs and started making my own. I served seven years in jail and..
Aaron: you were a child!!!
Lucy: I know right, I recently came out and im willing to buy drugs from anyone
Aaron: seems believable
Lucy: youre up next
Aaron: I wasn't junkie because you turned me into one, we met in prison where you gave me some pills to cure my depression and ive been hooked ever since
Lucy: lovely, can we pass as friends though?
Aaron: absolutely
(they laugh)
Aaron: hey, you don't mind me asking
Lucy: asking what?
Aaron: why are you doing this?
Lucy: the undercover thing?
Aaron: yes and talking to us on a friendly level
Lucy: how was I supposed to talk to you? Stern and tough
Aaron: that's what I expected from an FBI, im sorry
Lucy: no its fine
Aaron: this is nice, im having fun
Lucy: me too
Tim walked by and saw aaron and lucy chatting and laughing and he felt the need to send aaron away. He walked into the bullpen and called aaron to go help angela with something

Lucy: and why did you send him away?
Tim: you guys were getting chummy
Lucy: chummy? Really? (laughs) oh tim
Tim: im serious
Lucy: no one says that
Tim: besides the point
Lucy: are you jealous of a P2 officer being friendly with me?
Tim: no!
Lucy: too bad because id really like that
Tim: oh
Lucy: so, where do you usually eat lunch?
Tim: at a food trunk
Lucy: can I go with you?
Tim: id love that


During lunch

Lucy drove her and tim to the food truck. All eyes were on them because of three things, lucy, lucy's car and tim and lucy together.

Tim got down from the car and pulled out a seat for lucy before she even stepped out. When she gto there, she smiled and sat down. She saw angela sitting with other detectives and waved at her.

Tim: I was thinking about asking you out on a proper date
Lucy: oh, okay (smiles) and when will that be?
Tim: since we have this undercover thing which might take months for you and aaron, I was thinking maybe after
Lucy: how about tonight, just me and you at my place, or maybe just dinner
Tim: oh em yeah
Lucy: unless its too soon?
Tim: no its perfect, dinner is perfect
Lucy: great

After lunch, lucy went back home because she was done working with them. The walked kojo for almost 30 minutes because she hasn't been going on walks with kojo because she is busy with work. When she got back she started going through her closet to pick out something extra amazing for tonight.
Lucy picked out a dress but she wasn't so sure about it so she took her keys and went shopping.
She found this amazing watercolour dress with ruffles and she knew she had to get it. She paired it with some brown heels and she paid and left.
