Part 10❤️

After trying for a while, lucy was able to make tim relax. He layed down on her chest for a while before she was able to get him up.

Lucy and tim were taken back to lucy's place. Aaron on the other hand was taken by the police as a criminal's accomplice to make him leave the park without being traced.

When lucy got to her house, they helped her take him into her room. He insisted that he was fine but she didn't agree. She went into her bathroom and took a long hot bath.

After she was done, tim had already ordered her favorite food.

Lucy: you didn't have to
Tim: I figured you haven't been eating good food for a while
Lucy: well thank you

Lucy walked over to tim and hugged him. They held the hug for a really long time until she pulled away and took him to the table to eat. As they were eating, it was very quiet between them. Lucy was mostly quiet because she was scared of asking why he had a panic attack after seeing her and tim was ashamed even though it wasn't his fault. They kept glancing at each other and smiling but couldn't find the right words. 
After eating, lucy asked him if he wanted to share the bed with her and he said he will take the guest room if its fine and she said yes.

They both went to bed looking at the ceiling and couldn't sleep. Finally after trying for a while they were able to sleep.

Lucy was given a week off but she insisted on three days. She left her house early the next day to go into work and start doing some paperwork. Tim woke up and knocked on her door but no answer. He cracked the door open and didn't see her in bed so he opened it all the way through and called out her name. he went to the kitchen and saw a note on the counter saying, "hey, off to work, there are some breakfast sandwiches in the fridge".

He let out a big sigh and took his phone and called her.

Lucy: hey
Tim: hi, how are you?
Lucy: I feel like fainting but ill be alright
Tim: what, where are you now?
Lucy: im still at work, im assuming you got my note
Tim: weren't you given a week off
Lucy: I just went in to do some paperwork
Tim: oh well, are you done?
Lucy: not even close, ill call you later, bye
Tim: bye

Lucy hung up and kept her phone and stayed silent for a bit and continued working.


After work, lucy went back home and saw tim outside with kojo playing. She pulled into the driveway smiling. She got down and went to tim whose attention has changed to lucy. Lucy kissed him and he kissed her back passionately. After the kiss she went to kojo and said hi to him.

Tim: how was work
Lucy: im so exhausted, have you had anything to eat?
Tim: yeah, I made lunch too
Lucy: oh, chef tim in the house, well lets go in


They went inside and lucy turned to tim and went in for another kiss again. As they were kissing she whispered to tim, "I missed you so much". Tim couldn't stop smiling and said, "there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't want to see you".

After their kiss, lucy dropped her bag and went and ate lunch. Lucy's energy changed completely, she was happy not like the day before.

Tim: so, I think ill be going home today
Lucy: why?
Tim: maybe because I don't live here (laughs)
Lucy: why?
Tim: because, why are you saying why?
Lucy: okay tim what is going on
Tim: what do you mean?
Lucy: I wanted to keep it in and move on but I have to know, do you like me?
Tim: of course I like you, where is this coming from?
Lucy: from yesterday
Tim: yesterday?
Lucy: yes yesterday, I was so happy to see you from not talking or seeing each other for months and when you saw me you..you..
Tim: I panicked
Lucy: yeah
Tim: Im so sorry
Lucy: is it me? Did I do something wrong?
Tim: no no, its, its me
Lucy: do you want to talk about it?
Tim: if I want to be in a relationship with you the least I could do it be honest with you
Lucy: okay

Tim brought out his hand for lucy to hold and she did then he took her to the couch and he started talking.

Tim: you know I was married right?
Lucy: yeah
Tim: well, my ex wife was a cop
Lucy: oh
Tim: yeah, a detective even, but that was before I became a sergent
Lucy: okay...
Tim: she goes undercover too, sometimes short sometimes long
Lucy:...
Tim: and one time, she went deep undercover and she started taking the drugs she was supposed to catch and report
Lucy: oh my God
Tim: yeah, she became an addict, a junkie, and she went missing  for almost two years and when she came back she was unrecognizable
Lucy: im so sorry tim
Tim: yeah well, it was a long time ago, and the reason why I panicked was because I...I saw you dressed as a junkie and i was told you were arrested I was scared that..
Lucy: that I turned into one too
Tim: yeah
Lucy: tim im so sorry this happened to you
Tim: thanks lucy, it means a lot
Lucy: so  where is she now?
Tim: she was in rehab the last time we met, I just hope it helps her
Lucy: me too

Lucy put tim's head on her chest and tim hugged her. They were in that position until tim sat up.

Tim: aren't you tired
Lucy: im actually really tired
Tim: let me take you to bed
Lucy: (laughs) what, no, ill go
Tim: hmm okay


Tim stood up and acted like he was going to walk away then picked up lucy and started walking towards her room. Lucy was laughing and kicking her feet. He placed her on her bed and covered her with a blanket then she pulled him onto her bed and cuddled until they both fell asleep.

Three days later
Lucy woke up pretty early to get ready for work. She was going to meet up with tim for breakfast too which was also one of the reasons. She made breakfast for kojo then got dressed.

After getting ready, she left her house and headed to tim's house.

Tim was ready for work and had already made breakfast. Lucy got there in 30 minutes.

She knocked on the dorr and tim opened up. He gave her a warm hug and welcomed her in.

Lucy: wow, nice place you got there tim
Tim: thank you maam
Lucy: omg is that a dog house bed?
Tim: yeah, I got it for when kojo came over
Lucy: oh tim that's so cute, omg is that?
Tim: mhm, a photo of kojo framed
Lucy: that is super cute, I need a copy
Tim: you got it
Lucy: mmm, what smells delicious?
Tim: I made pancakes, soup and sliders for lunch
Lucy: em, chef tim? (laugh)
Tim: yeah yeah, lets eat
Lucy: lead the way

Tim took lucy to his dining area and sat her down. The table was filled with all the goodies. Lucy didn't know what to start with.

Lucy: now this, this is what I call breakfast
Tim: enjoy


Tim and lucy ate breakfast and talked a bit. They almost lost track of time as they were enjoying themselves.

Lucy: oh shoot!
Tim: what? What happened?
Lucy: its almost 7:30!
Tim: what! Oh shit, we have to get going
Lucy: yep

Lucy got up and started taking her things and helping tim clean up the table. After they were done lucy started heading out.

Lucy: tim im heading out
Tim: don't forget your lunch
Lucy: my lunch?
Tim: yeah the sliders, I did mention
Lucy: oh my God (chuckles) that's cute, I cant remember the last time I took lunch from home, thanks tim
Tim: you are welcome
Lucy: okay bye

Lucy hugged tim and kissed him then ran out the door. Tim stood there smiling for a bit then remembered he is almost late as well.
Lucy got to work and signed in. she went to her desk all chipper. Rob saw her and came over.

Rob: hello girl
Lucy: hello, and good morning
Rob: how are you
Lucy: amazing!
Rob: you look so bright I like that
Lucy: thanks
Rob: whats that?
Lucy: oh its nothing (smiles)
Rob: cmon what is it?
Lucy: oh, you know...just lunch that tim made me
Rob: tim made you lunch?
Lucy: and breakfast
Rob: wow, that's pretty cool, what do we got
Lucy: sliders, but I don't know let me check if there is something else

Lucy opened the bag and saw the sliders and a Dr pepper and one of the sliders had rob's name on it

Lucy: oh wow
Rob: what?
Lucy: (brings it out) he made one for you too
Rob: no way
Lucy: look
Rob: em, tim is so cool
Lucy: he is, that's so cute, ill call him and say thank you
Rob: yes please

Natalia came over

Natalia: good morning people
Lucy: hey
Rob: hey you
Lucy: (squints her eyes)
Natalia: did you get my text?
Rob: no actually
Natalia: its fine, I sent you locations for lunch, unless you are going with lucy now that she is back
Lucy: oh no, I have my lunch right here
Natalia: oh, since when did you bring lunch?
Rob: since her boyfriend started making lunch for her
Lucy: we aren't officially together but yeah, tim made me lunch
Natalia: cute!
Rob: he made me one too
Natalia: extra cute, so no going out for lunch?
Lucy: you can take the slider with you
Rob: yeah I will, thanks lucy, thank him for me too

Rob walks away

Lucy: so tell me, what happened between you two while I was away
Natalia: oh you know. We have been hanging out but he hasnt asked me out yet
Lucy: or you should ask him out
Natalia: ew why?
Lucy: well, he was pretty dead when his ex broke up with him, he is probably scared to ask
Natalia: but I have always liked him
Lucy: it wont hurt to try
Natalia: what if he hates me and we go back to not being friends
Lucy: I don't think that will be the outcome
Natalia: okay, I will try, thanks, ill see you around
Lucy: yep


Lucy wasn't given any heavy duty work because she just came back. She was just asked to do some desk duty until she is ready to go back to her actual job. She was bored throughout the day. Rob, her work bestie has a new bestie now. Even though they haven't fallen apart, she didn't want to take rob away from Natalia, and mostly not make Natalia feel left out again.

Since tim is a field sergent, she cant text him because he is busy with patrol. Is this how boring it will become for her?

Natalia: lucy!

Lucy turned around and saw Natalia standing there with a confused look

Lucy: yeah?
Natalia: I have been calling your name, what kind of day dream are you day dreaming?
Lucy: oh its nothing
Natalia: okay, well me and agent carlos are going to a crime scene if you want to join us
Lucy: wait really?
Natalia: of course, cmon

Lucy stood up and went with Natalia, she thought to herself that she isn't going to be bored afterall and she was just overthinking.


At lunch lucy went back to the station and look the lunch tim made for her and went to the breakroom to eat. She took her first bite and omg. She was amazed. "this is so good", she exclaimed.

She texted tim immediately and told him he has magic hands.

After tim saw the text he showed angela.

Angela: oh please, she should try mine, mine is way better
Tim: yeah yeah
Angela: so, are you two officially together now?
Tim: not exactly
Angela: so, let me get this straight, you guys hang out, you kiss, and you have probably slept together
Tim: angela
Angela: what? And now you are making her breakfast and lunch? Tim that's called dating
Tim: yeah but I haven't asked her out
Angela: and when do you plan to do that? When you have grandkids?
Tim: no! (laughs) I want her to be my girlfriend
Angela: then pop the question dude
Tim: I haven't found the right time yet
Angela: ask her to dinner, tonight or tomorrow, stop wasting time
Tim: okay love doctor, when will you start dating?
Angela: tim, im engaged!
Tim: whatever

After shift, lucy was heading out of the building and met up with rob.

Lucy: hey
Rob: hi, heading out?
Lucy: yeah, im exhausted
Rob: you should have said no when Natalia invited you on their case
Lucy: what? No that's not why im exhausted
Rob: oh? And why are you then
Lucy: I don't know, im just tired and id love to crash on my bed
Rob: well you better get going then
Lucy: I guess I will, goodnight bob
Rob: goodnight cece
Lucy: (shakes her head)


Lucy got into her car and went home.

When she got home, she was too tired to do anything. She did infact crash on her bed and woke up in the middle of the night hungry.

She went to her phone and saw that tim called her twice. She checked if he was online and he was so she texted him.

Lucy: heyy
Tim: hey ;) where have you been?
Lucy: I slept off
Tim: wow, work must have been stressful today huh
Lucy: yeah kinda, how was yours?
Tim: it was nothing special
Lucy: oh
Tim: yeah, so... are you going back to bed?
Lucy: no, imma get something to eat first, im starving
Tim: can I come over to cook for you?
Lucy: oh no tim, you should get some rest
Tim: its fine, tomorrow is my day off anyways so
Lucy: really? Did something happen?
Tim: my sister is coming to town
Lucy: omg genny
Tim: yeah
Lucy: that's great, and don't worry about me, ill just eat frozen crap
Tim: lucy...
Lucy: bye timmy
Tim: goodnight lucy, eat something better than frozen crap
Lucy: okay, bye


Lucy dropped her phone and went and made something light for herself.
