Once we were back home my mother told all the stories of the day to our stepfather. Tomorrow was another audition day for the contestants and bootcamp starts the day after. Jade and I had plenty of time to start packing. So we all decided to just spend the night together by watching a movie and order some pizza. After the movie I had some tea with honey before going to bed early.

The next day Jade and I decide to chill on the couch for a bit halfway through packing our bags. We got all afternoon to do that so we just wanted to rest. She's on her phone sending me memes from the other side of the couch. Our cat is laying on top of my lap.

*Ping* Another notification from Jade.

"Jesus Jade I'm right here just show me your phone." I joke. "Nah then I'd have to get up and in your disgusting face." She jokes back.

*Ding Dong* The doorbell rings and the cat jumps out of my lap. Jade doesn't even look up.

"Alright I'll go." I say a little annoyed as I get up. "It's probably for you anyways." She responds as she sinks deeper into the couch.

I enter the hallway and my heart drops as I see who's at the front door through the small window inside the door. It's John.

I stop in my tracks. Okay breathe in breathe out.

John is my ex boyfriend. Or maybe in this timeframe he's my boyfriend still. He's 3 years older than me. And has, last time I checked, about 27 tattoos. He also drives a beat up Honda civic. And did I mention he's a dick?

I open the door. "Hey babe." He smirks. It disgusts me, the way he calls me 'babe'. "Hey." I stand in the doorway so he can't come in.

In my timeline we've already broken up, but I guess in this one we just started dating.

"Can't I come in?" He looks confused. "How was the audition?" "The audition went great Jade and I are leaving tomorrow for bootcamp." I firmly stand my ground.

I don't know how he knows about the audition, but frankly I don't care. This relationship ends today. I won't let him treat me like he did before again. Last time it took me years to figure out he's a narcissist, but this time round I already know.

"Is that John? Hi John!" My mother says enthusiastically as she's coming down the stairs.

I roll my eyes. "I'm getting my coat we're going for a walk." I say as I grab my coat from the hanger.

We walk next to each other through the neighborhood while I'm trying to figure out a way to break up with him.

Can't really blame it on the things he hasn't done yet.

"So both you and Jade are in for bootcamp huh?" John breaks the silence.

"Yeah, John listen. I can't do this. I think we need to break up." I look away from him.

"Why would you say that." His voice immediately turns aggressive. "We're great, I'm great."

Yeah sure you are so great that you'll cheat and lie throughout our entire relationship and that's not even the worst of it.

"John, I mean it. We're over." I look him straight in the eyes. "I'm not feeling it, I'm not feeling the love."

"What do you mean 'not feeling the love' last week I bought you flowers and dinner." He says angrily.

Ah the love bombing stage. Can't believe I ever fell for that.

"There must be someone else." He shrugs, "I don't see any other reason why you'd break up with me."

"Trust me John there's not. I'm just not feeling it. And with bootcamp coming up, I might actually make it as a singer. I don't want to be tied down." I cross my arms.

*Ping*

"Who's that then?" He grabs my phone out of my hand.

"That's probably Jade sending another meme. Why can't you just accept that sometimes it's just you. No excuses no one else. It's just that I don't want to be with you." I start to get angry.

Who does he think he is grabbing my phone from me like that.

"Yes does this sound like Jade? 'Hey Teacup, had so much fun with you yesterday. X Liam.'" His eyes turn dark as the words leave his mouth. "Oh and there's a picture of you two together also!" He looks like he's ready to smash my phone to pieces.

"I literally just met the guy. Jades also in that picture. He's not the reason we're breaking up right now." I plead and try to get my phone back from him, but as I approach him he grabs me by the throat and pushes me up the wall behind me.

I can't breathe. I can't breathe.

I struggle to get out of his grip but to no avail. "You're just a disgusting little slut!" He yells in my face. I squeeze my eyes shut because I feel his spit on my face as he yells.

He squeezes his fist even tighter around my throat. I feel myself getting weaker.

A guy walking his dog passes the alleyway we're in. He definitely heard John scream at me because he turns to us.

It startles John and he releases me and my phone. Both me and my phone fall to the ground as John starts to try and run away.

"Where do you think you're going?" The guy grabs John by his chest, holding on to his shirt.

As I cough and try to catch my breath. I look up and see John's face, he looks like he's about to piss himself. The strangers back is turned to me and his dog starts barking loudly.

"I said where do you think you're going." The stranger calmly repeats himself. "I uh I.." John stammers. And then, without a warning, the strangers stomps John on the nose. Hard.

John almost collapses as I see the blood gushing from his nose. "Ah man I think you broke it." He reaches for his nose, snorts, and starts running.

"Too bad actions have consequences." The stranger yells after him.

Then the stranger turns to me. Finally I see the face of my savior. Louis Tomlinson. I gasp and cough. "Are you okay?" He kneels down to the ground.
