21. Don't you love our pheromones?

I walk back to over to the girls.

"I hope they find him." Jade says to them. "Would be a shame if he threw away his spot in the competition." Daisy responds.

"Are you guys talking about Zayn?" I ask, "I just talked to him. Simon's with him now."

"How is the boy?" Laelynn asks concerned.

"Very scared to make a fool out of himself." I say, "I hope he comes back after talking to Simon."

As the words leave my mouth Zayn walks up on the stage.

"Oh there he is!" Jade points him out and I press her arm back down. "Don't be rude." I correct her.

Zayn looks up at us, probably because Jade was rudely pointing fingers.

"Hey good luck!" I smile and give him the thumbs up. He smiles back and joins the boys up on the stage.

The track starts back up again and Zayn begins to dance. I watch him proudly. After the boys are done it's our turn. But first I run over to Zayn and hug him. "I knew you could do it." He hesitates before hugging me back. Then other contestants join in and smatter us. Everybody cheers for him.

"Okay that's enough." Simon interrupts us. "We'd like to see the girls now."

We take our places, I'm in the second line just behind Daisy. Laelynn is next to me and Jade is somewhere in the third line.

"Girls are you ready?" Brian says and the track starts.

As we dance I feel all the eyes on me. I'm pretty sure I can see Liam, Harry, and Louis in my peripheral vision making comments. But that's not what concerns me.

What concerns me is Simon, Louis and Brian pointing in my direction.

"Thank you." Brian says when all of us have switched through all the lines.

"Okay I have an announcement to make." Simon stands up. "You know when I said... We weren't gonna make any cuts?"

Oh dear god please tell me there isn't a second elimination today?

"I was telling the truth." Simon smiles and the crowd cheers.

"So we'll see you tomorrow morning on stage, then you'll be paired up again for the second and final duet." Louis adds. "We'll let you go for today. Make sure to be fresh and fruity tomorrow." We cheer and then start leaving the stage.

"You guys wanna grab some dinner?" Liam asks while we walk off.

"Sure we've got the night off now, so we can do whatever." Harry says turning his head around to him.

"Maybe your new friend wants to join us?" Daisy nudges me.

"Oh I don't know." I shrug. I'd love to have dinner with Zayn, but I truly don't know what's best for the future of one direction and if it would make a difference if I invite him.

"Hey Zayn!" Laelynn yells, "wait up!" She sprints over to him.

Well... too late now I guess.

"I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner with us at the cafeteria." I hear Laelynn ask as I get closer to them.

"Oh I uhm..." Zayn doesn't know what to say.

Dude don't make it awkward now.

"I promise we won't bite." I chuckle at him joining the conversation. "My friends are real nice." I assure him.

"Okay." Zayn smiles. "I have to go call my mom first, and shower. But let's have some dinner."

"Sure, I bet we all want to freshen up first too." Laelynn says.

"Meet us at the cafeteria in about an hour, hour and a half?" I ask. "You can come to girls room 2 if you don't see us there yet."

"Yeah that will work." Zayn smiles, "See you." He walks off taking his phone out of his pocket.

"And? Is he joining us?" Harry asks while him and the others walk up to us.

"Yeah he'll meet us in the cafeteria." Laelynn says excitedly.

We pick up our stuff and leave Wembley for the evening.

"Let's go shower and change first, meet back here in an hour?" I ask the guys when we enter the cafeteria.

"An hour? We have to wait that long?" Harry wines, "I'm hungry."

"You'll have to wait. We're all together sharing a room, and it's only got one shower Harry." Laelynn giggles.

"And on top of that, we're girls." Jade flips her hair.

"Girl time!" Harry squeaks jokingly and we all laugh.

"For real see you in an hour." I wave them off.

"Don't we get a hug?" Liam pouts.

"No way, you are smelly." I stick my tongue out to him and as I turn around to leave I see him and Louis share a look.

"Oh no." Jade says, "you better start making a run for it."

Before I can react, I have Liam and Louis both squishing me at once. "Who cares, we all danced our asses off." Liam says. "You're smelly too." Louis laughs.

"Don't call me smelly." I try to wiggle my way out of their grip.

"Smelly group hug!" Harry shouts and joins in.

"Gross... I do not want to partake in that." Jade pulls a face of disgust as she stands off to the side with Laelynn and Daisy.

"Come on." Liam says waving them over.

"... ah, what the hell." Laelynn shrugs and joins the hug.

"Girl you're crazy." Daisy laughs but follows too.

"Are you really going to do me like that?" Jade complains. "Now I can't be the only one not joining." She walks over and joins holding her nose.

"Let go of me now." I plead. "Please."

"Why? Don't you love our pheromones?" Louis laughs as we all let go.

"No." I put on a fake angry face. "And with this you set back the time another hour. Because now I've got to shower for at least two." I joke.

"You get an extra fifteen minutes." Harry bargains, "any more than that and I will start dinner without you."

"Okay Harry, just for you we'll hurry up." I laugh. "Girls let's go." I turn to the girls.

"See you guys." Jade starts walking away, "Bye." Daisy and Laelynn follow.

"An hour and fifteen minutes not a second more!" Louis shouts when we're almost at the door.
