Public Service Announcement
They'll take advantage of you
They'll question if your intentions are real or illegitimate
Loyalty is often used in vain
Passed around like offering plates
Until the basket gets full
Then
When their is no more usage for you
They'll empty you
Drain you
Toss you to the side
But even with all of the turmoil I've faced
I'm still loyal to my soil
My allegiance is to my roots
I don't fall like leaves or break like branches
I'm not easily broken
You can't stump me
These treacherous trekking waters can't drown me
I'm built different
You can brandish a weapon out of hatred
But none of them will prosper
God is in my corner
So he changing the outcome
I'm created in loyalty because I love
I dare anyone to question this heart
Once we pour into each other
We're connected
I got you
Even in all the turmoil we'll face
Now
From the ground we'll rise
It's gametime
Open your eyes.
