Ch.1 The News (Clary's POV)

"Okay everyone! Umm. I have some big news to share with you guys!" I sat in the middle of the living room with Jace's arm around me. Everyone was gathered and sitting on the couch waiting for me to tell them what was happening. And I mean EVERYONE. "Okay. Uhh. Well. I'm sorry it's just...IM PREGNANT!" And scilence. And then tears. "OH MY GOODNESS! My baby is gonna have a baby!" My mom said sobbing and hugging me. When everyone left I couldn't help but smile. I just couldn't believe that I was going to have a baby with Jace. I still remember when I told him:
"Hi Clary! What's the big dinner for? Why'd you dress up? Is it my birthday? Wait no that was last month!" I looked at my husband with a big smile on my face. I held his hands and looked him in the eyes. "Jace. I love you more than anything in the world. Please don't hate me. But. I'm pregnant!" He stood there shocked. I felt his hands grow limp. My smile started to fade. Was he mad at me? Did he think we were going too fast? No he couldn't. He promised to always support me. Always was our number one rule. Was he going to break it? But then his a shocked face turned into a smile. He picked me up and swung me around then have me a big kiss. "BY THE ANGEL CLARY! WERE GONNA HAVE A FAMILY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! But wait! Is it a girl or a boy? When is your due date? How long have you been pregnant? Am I the dad? Did you cheat on me? Are you lying cause you need money?" It was kinda cute when he freaked out like that. "Jace! Calm down! My due date is in 9 months! It's okay calm down! And yes you are the dad!" I said laughing. I would never cheat on him. I mean after all we were just married 2 months ago. "And my next check up is in a week so be ready!" I said. "I have one each week. I found out last week because I threw up almost every day. So I went to a pharmacist and she suggested that I take a pregnancy test. So now. Here I am and ready to have a family!" I already knew what it's name was going to be!
