Ch.2 Tessa Herondale (Clary's POV)

   At my last check up we learned that it was a girl! Her name was going to be Tessa. After the person who gave me my last name. Tess Gray turned me into Clary Fray. Now Clary Herondale is going to give birth to Tessa Herondale! I was so nervous. My due date is somewhere this week and my waters gonna break probably at the most unexpected tim- "JACE! JACE! MY WATER JUST BROKE!" I started to panic as he panicked by running in and out of rooms to get everything. He looked adorable. He quickly scooped my up and into his arms and gently ran down the steps. And we sped to the hospital. Oh my goodness. He was sweating! "Jace! It's okay! Take a deep breath! We're almost there! You'll give birth in no time!" I said laughing. "Clary!"
   Before I knew it we rushed through the emergency room and I was in a lot of pain. It felt like I was swallowing seraph blades. Then it all happened in a blur. And I was staring at little Tess in my arms. "Jace! We have a family now!" Then, the boy who never cried finally cried. For us.
   Okay. Soooo. Being pregnant is SO MUCH WORK. That night she wouldn't stop crying. I was in bed in Jace's embrace sleeping peacefully with Charlotte on top of us. Then in the room across from us I heard crying. "Tess! Your a shadowhunter stop crying!" Jace moaned. I sighed and got up. But no matter how many times I rocked her in my arms or patted her back she would not stop. But maybe..."JACE! GET IN HEAR!" I whispered across the hall. Minutes later he showed up slumped against the wall with his messy hair in his face. "WHAT" he said complaining. "You try!" I said handing her over. Maybe she wants her dad! And she did. 5 minutes of her dad cradling her and she was fast asleep. He kissed her forehead and gently put her down in her crib.
   The next morning was very eventful. Yes it was. I woke up early and changed Tess' diaper really quick. Then it was breakfast time. Jace was already up and cooking breakfast. I got the baby food out of the pantry and put it in her bowl. Maybe she likes ground peaches! But she didn't. It was hilarious though. I put a little of it on a spoon and fed it to her. At first she was smiling but then she had a sour face. "Oh you don't like the peaches? Well I can get you someth-" and now my face is currently covered with baby food. Jace turned around to see what was going on and laughed when he saw my face. While he was laughing I got a handful of peaches and smeared it all over his face. Then Tessa started clapping and put some on her own face.
