CJ and Ken decided to stroll the streets of Manhattan and go shopping together.
CJ looks at Ken adjusting her sunglasses. "Is this your first time, Kenneth Bowers?
Ken smiles. "I must admit that I haven't really strolled the streets of Manhattan. My father wouldn't let me and my Mom... she's very protective of me."
"Well, let me be your tour guide then." CJ smiles. "So, what's your strategy for navigating all this chaos?"
Ken walks with CJ and thinks. "I stick to my game plan. Get in, get out, avoid cute little distractions..oh, wait, you mean shopping?"
CJ playfully nudes Ken. "Oh, come on, you enjoy this too! We both know you've got a keen eye for style."
Ken mocks seriousness. "Absolutely. I can tell the difference between silk and polyester from a mile away. But uhm...I have a stylist and personal shopper."
"Yeah I know. But have you gone shopping all by yourself?" CJ asks and gets curious.
"Yeah, way back in college. David's a huge help." Ken feels a little embarrassed. "I have gone shopping at Rodeo Drive, in Paris and Milan."
"Alright, Mr. Fashion Expert. Let's see if you can guide me to something fabulous." CJ holds Ken's hand and then gets inside Macy's.
CJ picks any dress she sees and takes Ken with him to the VIP dressing room where Ken is seated comfortably on a couch.
CJ steps out and turns around slowly. "Okay, what do you think?"
Ken's eyes widened and were genuinely impressed. "Wow, CJ! You look stunning. That color really brings out your eyes."
CJ controls herself not to blush. "You think so?"
Ken smiles. "I think Clifford would be more ideal to give you fashion inputs."
CJ giggles and goes back to the dressing room.
Ken is checking his cellphone and texting Clifford.
CJ goes out again wearing another outfit.
Ken gives his honest comment. "Nice, it hugs your body perfectly. The color suits you well."
CJ smiles. "Well, it seems my big brother's best friend has an eye for more than just numbers and stocks."
Ken grins. "Ah, but this is merely luck and observation. You on the other hand, have a talent for capturing attention."
CJ's tapping her chin. "You flatter me, but maybe I ought to be your shopping stylist for a day...you know, share the wealth of knowledge!"
Ken laughs. "Deal! Just remember, our deal only counts if I can wear the outfits you pick."
They both laugh, and after a few more pieces of clothing, they find an upscale restaurant nearby.
CJ's taking a seat at a table. "This place looks amazing. Great choice! But I think it needs a reservation."
Ken's sitting across from CJ. "Only the best for today's shopping queen and yes while you were choosing an outfit. I called my secretary to make a reservation for us."
"Clever!" says CJ.
They look at the menu as a waiter approaches.
Waiter: Good noon, Mr. Bowers and Ms. Anderson! Can I start you off with some drinks?
