The Mystery of Us (You and Me Against the World)

Chapter Twenty Four

David together with CJ and Steven flew to Sidney Australia to visit their Aunt Katelyn.

David spent his days in Australia watching old videos of him and he is slowly remembering things in the past.

Katelyn's husband Craig went sailing with Steven, David and his son Jeffrey and also went scuba diving.

David swims out of the water.

Steven swims to David. "Dave, are you okay?"

David's taking off his goggles and catching his breath.

Steven feels worried. "Dave, talk to me! Are you okay?"

David looks at Steven.

Steven swim and pulls David with him.

After a few minutes, David's sitting on a corner silently while looking at the water.

"Steve, I'm worried. Is he going to be okay?" CJ's looking at her brother.

"We will stop by at the hospital just to be sure," says Craig.

Jeffrey walks to David and hands a bottle of refreshment.

"Thanks." David gets inside the yacht and lies down on the couch.

After almost two hours they finally reached their Aunt Katelyn's house.

David gets his cellphone and checks if he has any new messages and missed calls. "CJ, I don't think this is my cellphone."

CJ walks to David. "It's a new one."

"Where's my old cellphone," asked David.

"It's with Dad," CJ replied.

"Why? Why does he have it?" David wonders.

"He's the one keeping it after your accident." CJ tells her brother.

David feels confused and walks straight into the guest room.

Katelyn approaches CJ. "You should ask your father to give David his old cellphone back."

"I already did but he doesn't David to remember Nicole," CJ responded.

Katelyn sighs. "He has no control of it, David has the right to know everything. I will talk to Ralph about this. He is not helping David at all!"

After two weeks of vacationing in Australia, the Anderson siblings has returned home.

CJ has a strong feeling that her brother David got his memory back already. For the first time since the accident David has called her by her first name.

David has finally returned to his house even if his parents were against it. But before that, David has built a little rest house for Maria and requested her to move in with him.

It's the beginning of the week. The atmosphere is tense but professional, with everyone waiting for David and CJ to arrive.

CJ gets in the meeting room together with her assistant and then followed by her brother David with Timothy, Kit and Melanie.

David sits at the head of the table, reviewing the agenda. The heads of departments, including CJ, are seated around the table, each with laptops and notes ready.

All of the department heads are glaring at each other expecting something different
from their head David.

David looks up. "Good morning, everyone. Thank you for joining me today. We have a lot to cover regarding the upcoming projects. Let's start with the marketing update. Catherine?
