Twinkle Taneja and Kunj Sarna had been at each other's throats for as long as anyone could remember. They weren't just rivals-they were archenemies. To them, there was no word more insulting than "Kunj" or "Twinkle."
But fate had a twisted sense of...

Scene 1: Family Gathering, Unexpected Confessions
It was a Sunday afternoon, and Twinkle had just finished shopping for her mom's birthday. As she entered the house, she noticed that her parents and Kunj's parents had arrived for a small gathering. This wasn't unusual, but what she didn't expect was the awkward tension that filled the room.
"Arre, Twinkle beta, you're here!" Leela, her mother, exclaimed, pulling her into a tight hug. "We're just about to have lunch. Kunj's mom has prepared some of her famous kebabs."
Twinkle smiled and glanced at Kunj, who was sitting on the couch, clearly trying to avoid eye contact. His gaze kept flickering away whenever their eyes met. Twinkle raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his behavior.
As Twinkle set her things down, she heard Usha, Kunj's mom, say, "Twinkle, you look so good today! What's the secret?" Her voice was filled with warmth, and Twinkle felt a little self-conscious under the compliment.
"Thanks, aunty! Just a little shopping and a lot of stress!" Twinkle responded, laughing softly. She sat down at the table where Kunj had taken his seat, intentionally sitting across from him. She wanted to make sure he noticed how at ease she was in the family setting, even if he was acting strangely.
Suddenly, the conversation shifted. "So, Twinkle," Leela began, "when is the wedding planning starting? Have you and Kunj thought about it?"
Twinkle nearly choked on her water. Wedding planning? That wasn't something she had even considered yet. The question hung in the air like an elephant in the room, and Kunj, who had been sipping his drink, froze.
"Uh... actually, ma, we're not-" Kunj started, but was interrupted by his dad, Manohar, who looked up from his food.
"Why not, Kunj? Don't you think it's time to take this relationship to the next level?" Manohar's tone was playful, but there was a serious undertone to his words.
Twinkle felt a lump form in her throat. Why was everyone suddenly obsessed with their relationship? She exchanged a glance with Kunj, who looked like he was about to explode. He couldn't hide his discomfort.
"Uhh... Dad, I think it's too soon," Kunj mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "We're still figuring things out."
Twinkle's mind raced. It wasn't as though they had never talked about it. But talking about marriage in front of everyone made it feel... real. Too real.
"But Kunj," Usha added, smiling warmly, "You've known Twinkle for so long. She's like family already."
Twinkle smiled awkwardly but didn't speak. She had to admit-Kunj's family was wonderful, and she genuinely liked spending time with them. But the constant pressure to define their relationship was starting to get to her.
She glanced at Kunj again. There was something off about him today. Something in his eyes told her that there was more he wasn't saying. But she wasn't ready to confront him just yet. Instead, she decided to change the topic to something lighter.
