Spike- Pumpkin Spice

It was the middle of October, the favorite ingredient catering to millions of Americans in the U.S.A. had come out recently, every single product involving it was on sale including to me who didn't feel entitled to much. It was sun down on a weekend where I had nothing much to do but crave one of those iced coffees, taking my keys and wallet I went out the house on my way to the coffee street near the Magic Box. After sitting near a Pumpkin Spice candle for a few hours worried it would cause a fire, spraying myself with discount perfume now ready to consume some coffee that tasted like it at night. Feeling confident about my mission the wind brushed passed me, my hair blowing through, the light cold making it feel more close to Halloween. Vampires didn't really come out that often near that day, but a lot of them did if they were starving.

I took in the fresh air subtly smelling the scent on me, sneezing and stopping in my tracks. Going forward seeing the shop still open I walked faster getting up to the counter and ordering a croissant on the side, paying and receiving my items I continued my walk down the block passed the Magic Box not seeing anyone willing to talk at the moment I went on. I heard rustling in the alley on my right causing me to jump until I looked in front of me "Bless you" it was Spike "Have-Have you been following me?" he kicked the rubble beneath as if he was shy "No, just lurking that's what I do... ask Dawn" I rolled my eyes "I'm good" he chuckled that irresistible sound causing me to feel so many things. As if he knew he came a bit closer "Why are you all the way out here, Pumpkin Spice?" he said glancing at the coffee in hand taking in a whiff of my smell "I-I was taking a walk after getting this" he smirked "Sure you weren't just looking for me?" I gasped at his implication "No, no I just wanted to find a place to sit" "Your house is pretty far from here, love" I shuffled from my left leg to right "Oh uh, the park is a block away" I shrugged.

Spike gave me a knowing look before he took the opportunity to flirt "Let me help you with that" his voice verifies his intentions. I sighed "I guess" he glanced at me before wrapping an arm around me before bringing me over to where I was going "Didn't wanna see your friends?" I had zoned out having thoughts about Spike, how handsome he really was, what it would be like to date him, how the Scoobies would feel which would be disappointed especially Xander. I shook myself out of it "What?!" my voice raised as I looked at him crazy "Shhh, pet, calm down! I asked if you didn't want to see your friends?" I furrowed my brows "I um... wasn't really planning on talking to anyone" he let out an unnecessary breath "So not even me?" my heart skipped a beat "Oh uh, I didn't think of you to be honest so no your fine" he smirked "Kinda hurt that you weren't thinking of me... but at least 'I'm fine'" he said as we walked across the grass to a bench sitting.

I looked at the ground holding my drink and pulling out my snack, he watched me "I wasn't really worried about you I mean like I didn't know if I was gonna see you" "Oh that makes sense" he said smiling at me "I um... I'm kinda glad to see you though" his smile grew before he looked at ground his face falling as I took a bite moaning in approval, his eyebrows raised to my noise before realizing "I was... kinda nearby your house" I gasped bread crumbs flying across "I never told you where I live!" he scratched the back of his neck "Neither did the others but I always show up" "So your stalking me?" he shrugged "I was hoping I wouldn't have to anymore" my heart started to race as I looked into his eyes "W-What do you mean?" he reached for my coffee putting it into his other hand grabbing mine "If you aren't thinking about me, I'm thinking about you... all of the time, I know I'm a vampire but... I love you Y/N, and you treat me like a man" my heart fluttered along with everything else in my body, my mind flowed with 'Oh my god oh my god!' as he looked into my eyes.

My cheeks flushed with pink causing him to softly chuckle this time "You're so adorable..." his thumb swiping my cheek as he felt the warmth "I-I love you too Spike" he smiled cupping my cheek leaning in kissing me for what felt like an eternity, my heart pumping fast and loud as if he could hear, my shock fading away as I kissed back. Once he pulled away he licked his lips "Hmmm Pumpkin Spice" he wasn't too impressed but he handed me the coffee with his hand on my thigh, excitement rushing through me "You're the only one I've never wanted to bite" he admitted with a smirk his thumb brushing my jeans as I felt tingly "Huh?" he chuckled "You, you're the only human I haven't wanted to bite my whole vampire existence" his voice kind of low but his words meaning everything to me as I kissed his cheek drinking my coffee as he sniffed the air next to me.
