Buffy- Love Spell

I ran down the street around the town not knowing what to feel, Spike had told me some things that hurt my feelings about Buffy. We had gone to high school together, I knew shes the Slayer and felt closer to her than she was with Willow. Many times we would train together where I had her back during fights, so this one night we were in the cemetery on patrol talking as we moved through the lot "So Spike told me he think you are in love with me?" she asked. My heart sank with the tone in her voice I knew where this was headed "What?" "I mean I kind of thought it was true but..." "T-That's crazy" I told her looking away "So it's a lie?" "Yes" "Good" it felt as if my heart cracked after she said that. Once a few vampires were staked she realized it was time for bed, cuz of Dawn "You can get home from here?" "Yeah" she trotted off leaving me in the middle of the patchy grass and tombstones. I sighed feeling tears form in my eyes as I went in the direction of Spike's crypt, I needed some answers.

Barging in he jumped turning around "What the hell?!" I rushed up pinning him against the wall "What the fuck did you tell Buffy?" he chuckled "It's a funny story really" I loosened my grip as my heart felt squeezed again "What did you tell her?" I whispered "You came in here with strength and now your so defeated? Was it true?" "Y-You didn't even know and you still told her?!" I shoved him "Listen she brought it up!" "That didn't give you a right to say anything!" he smirked at me. I punched him in the jaw hearing an "Ow!" "She told me you were acting different! All I said was "they could be in love with you" then she laughed, started asking me questions!" I let out a breath of anger not knowing what to say "She said good when I lied about it" I scowled looking away "Listen I'm here if you-..." I turned around leaving with no tracks. Rolling my eyes as I made my way to Willow, I knew she would be at the Magic Box not having the responsibility of Dawn and such. Tears ran down my cheeks as I ran down the street to the little shop, once I made it a few blocks down I wiped the sadness from my eyes going in.

Giles wasn't there assuming he went home early Anya was still there, I went up to Willow who was sitting at the big round table. Reading a book she made eye contact with me "Y/N! How's it going?" "F-Fine, can I talk to you real quick?" Glancing at Xander's girl at the til. Willow took the hint putting the literature down following me to the back "What's up?" "Say you have this friend... who has a crush on someone who doesn't like them back..." "is this about Buffy?" "W-What? No!" Wondering if everyone knew about that by now "So you want a love potion?" "Love potion... love spell... whatever we need" I said with a shrug "Lucky for you I was reading up on these again, after the first screw up" she giggled at the memories of us all wanting to do Xander that one day. I shivered thinking I would rather have Spike "So can we do it?" "Of course, we have the ingredients now" "What about Anya?" "This is for your friend right?" I looked at the ground hating this lie "Oh yeah" "You have nothing to worry about Y/N, I'll grab the stuff for you" I waited out in the store area as Willow helped me out.

Once she came out with it "Tell your friend to read this, use this talisman and say the persons name 3 times, here's a potion just in case" I thanked her but Anya had something to say "When did Y/N make any new friends? All they do is hang out with us" Willow gave me a look before rolling her eyes "Y/N can have friends Anya" I smirked leaving the place then making it home. I carried out the spell feeling my heart beating faster like it would burst from my chest, the house shook and I even levitated. Once I fell from the air I felt pain, maybe even guilt or it was the potion Willow made. A few minutes past of me brooding on the couch until the doorbell rang, I got up to open the door. It was Buffy she looked like she was glowing, the spell had worked "Y/N, I'm so sorry about how I spoke to you earlier about your love for me" I felt my cheeks tighten "I-It's ok" she grabbed me kind of pushing me into the house shutting the door behind me. When she turned around she kissed me which felt passionate, I put my hands on her waist as we kissed for a moment "I'm sorry Y/N" the guilt started to eat at me as much as the pain of seeing her like this "I love you Buffy" I told her confidently until a tear ran down my cheek. Noticing her eyebrows furrow "Why are you crying?" "You don't love me" "Yes I do" she hugged me.

I tried to pull away "What's wrong?" More tears ran down my face "I-I can't hurt you like this, I can't hurt myself like this" I turned away walking further into the house "When Spike told me..." her voice was louder as she started until she continued "I didn't know how to feel at first, I laughed which must've been humiliating since Spike loves me" I nodded grabbing a drink "But after he told me that you were better than him since your human, and would treat me better..." I stood there in shock I punched the man who basically hooked me up. Buffy looked at me tears now forming in her eyes "I saw your face at the cemetery, you lied" pointing at me I looked down at the ground "Yes but do you blame me? You said good!" "No I don't blame you" she came closer to me "But I do love you" I looked at her confused "B-But I-..." "I know" "What?" "Fine, what did you do Y/N?" She got more close to me "I-I went to the magic shop-..." "And put a spell on me?" "H-How-..." "What kind of pink energy pulse happens at Midnight after you basically reject someone?" "Oh right" she giggled kissing me again.
