Saphira's Pov

I was blissfully sleeping away, my dreams weren't pleasant but I'm use to it by now. It wasn't long before my sleep was disturbed by the loud thunder and the rough swaying of the ship. I wake up immediately, my instincts kicking in telling me that something is wrong. I try to sit up, but the rocking of the ship is making it difficult to stay up right. I hiss as my wounds are starting to ache from my movements. I try to stay up right as I make my way to the door, slowly but surely. As I open the door to our quarters, my ears quickly locate the voices of the crew between the raging storm. "Hey!" Nami, Usopp, Sanji and Zoro are standing on the upper deck. They look down as they saw me holding on for dear live. "Hey, what are you doing out of bed?!" Nami shouted at me in anger, "Saphira dear, please go back to bed. The storm is too dangerous to be on deck." Sanji explains helpfully, I ignore their concerns and make my way up the stairs. "I can't sleep if the ship is rocking so violently." I explain as I made it next to them, I look out to see what is wrong with this weather.

"We entered the stream that will take us to the Grand Line." Nami explains once I'm near, the ship suddenly jerks to the side so violently I'm thrown off my feet. "Saphira!" Nami's worried shout is cut short when she saw that Usopp caught me before I went flying. "Let's get inside!" Usopp shouts in my ear as he leads me to the kitchen's door, "Nami, if we don't do something we're gonna crash!" Luffy shouts in panic, I look up to see where he is and then to where he is looking at. There was this huge rock wall in front of us, and we are heading straight for it. Sanji and Usopp panic and quickly run toward the rudder to change the ships direction. I grab on to the door frame to keep myself grounded, I won't be much help right now so all I can do is stay in one place.

"Keep going straight ahead!" Nami shouts so everyone can hear her, "A-Are you serious?!" Usopp shouts in panic, "Just do it!" I don't know what Nami is trying, but I trust her enough to know that she knows what she is doing. Luffy stretches his arm and grabs ahold of the railing next to Nami and slings himself down. "Nami! Is that the canal entrance?" Luffy asks her once his feet is back on the floor, "Most likely!" Was Nami's answer. It wasn't reassuring. "This can't be real!" Zoro says as he looks through a pair of binoculars, I follow his line of sight but obviously can't see what he sees.

"Hey, let me see?" I ask as I reach out to take the binoculars, Zoro doesn't fight me as I take them. His attention stays ahead, "The damn ocean really is flowing up the mountain!" He shouts as the raging storm makes it hard to hear anything, but I see what he is talking about and it's an amazing and terrifying sight. The ocean water is flowing upwards like a raging river, the logic behind this gravity doesn't make sense. "We gotta make our way through these water gates just right!-" Nami exclaims as she points to the stone gates with carvings on them that leads the way up the mountain. "Or the ship will crash!" That isn't very reassuring!

"W-We're getting off course! More to the right! Right! Right!" Luffy panickly points to the right as if that will help turn the ship faster. Sanji and Usopp are struggling to push the rudder, the strong current of the water fighting against them. "C-Come on now!" They push with all their might. I wish I can help. I hear something groaning and splintering, I look inside the kitchen to see Usopp pushing and Sanji pulling the rudder. It clicks too late where the sound is coming from when the rudder snaps off and Sanji and Usopp is sent flying. The result, immediate panic! Luffy acts quickly and runs toward the front of the ship, he inflates his body like a balloon and wedges himself between the railing and the stone gates.

We bounce right off Luffy. We're safe, but Luffy is about to fall in the water. "Luffy!" I shout in worry, Zoro is quick to go aid him. "Grab on!" Zoro reaches out to grab Luffy, Luffy stretches out his arm and grabs Zoro's hand. Zoro pulls Luffy back on to the ship, but Zoro let's go of Luffy's hand mid flight and Luffy crashes into the deck of the ship. I flinch at the impact, only to flinch again at my own wounds with the jerking movement. Sanji and Usopp are celebrating in the kitchen, "We made it!" Nami and I just sigh in relief, "Now it's just a straight shot to the summit!" Nami happily says as she takes off her raincoat, I just noticed that it stopped raining. Luffy quickly gets up to join Zoro at the front of the ship to look at where we are going.

Everyone's joyful cheers were cut off by some guy standing on the railing of the ship that appeared out of nowhere. My anger rises when I realize it's the same guy that attacked me back on Lost Island. I slowly made my way to the front of the ship where the others are facing the purple shit. "You're still alive?!", "You have tiny eyes.", "How did he get on the ship?" The crew were confuse of this guys appearance, but stand ready for an attack. "Curse the whole lot of you!" The guy shouts at them as he prepares to attack, I'm slowly creeping up the stairs, the guy hasn't noticed me yet. "Thanks to you, my dream of Dragonite has been crushed!" He was pissed, but he had it coming, especially on how he wanted to achieve his dream. I made it to the last step when he raised his arms in the air to initiate his attack, "I can't leave things as they are!" He's talking about revenge, well sorry for him because mine is going to be sweeter.

As he keeps talking, I sneak up to him and just as he says something about Dragonite again, I dash forward and kick my leg out and hook my foot with one of his, basically tripping him. He was an idiot for standing on the railings. As he falls, we make eye contact. "You-!" I smirk as I watch him dissappear in the water. The crew gasp at my fast attack and watch as the purple guy meet his fate. "Good job, Saphira!" The crew cheer, I turn around with my hands on my hips, very much proud of my self but flinch with the movement. "Nice Saphira, he can't swim so I don't think he'll be following us any more!" Nami says as she looks at where the guy fell in. I flinch this time for a diffent reason. 'Mama, I just killed a man.'

"Given this current, being able to swim wouldn't matter anyway!" Usopp says too happily, "Way to go, Saphira dear!" Sanji praises me with hearts in his eyes. The more they praise me the more guilty I felt. Zoro seems to notice my deflating form, "Don't feel guilty, he almost killed you back on Lost Island." He tries to reasure me, I just nod knowing full well that my head is going to be filled with dark thoughts for a while. Luffy interrups my train of thoughts as he shouts, "We're in the clouds!" As we all look around, we can see we're indeed in the clouds. 'How high up are we?' I look around and can see nothing but the white clouds blinding us. But, it wasn't long before we breaked from the clouds and everything became clear again, we can see the top of the mountain now. "Awesome!" Luffy's excitement was rubbing off on everyone, I couldn't help it either as I forget about the purple hair dude.

"It's the summit!" Nami shouts in excitement as we got closer to the top, the temperature was dropping quick too. Everyone quickly grabbed ahold of something as the ship was launched into the air, "Yahoo!" Luffy was enjoying this too much. The ship wasn't long in the air before it started decending back down and crashed back onto the stream. Now instead of up, we are riding a water slide down the mountain. This was it, we are finally entering the Grand Line. The thought makes me think of my sisters. If they weren't here in the Grand Line, the journey back to the East Blue was going to be treacherous. We were decending faster and faster, the clouds that block your view of the top of the mountain coming closer. It wasn't long that we past them and saw what sat at the other side.
