Winifred's POV

Things have settled down a bit after we left Little Garden. I was beyond excited. Not only did I find out that Saphira was alive, but also on the island looking for me. I was also more than surprised when I found out she was with a pirate crew. Saphira- my older sister that was always overly cautious of everything- was part of a pirate crew. If it was still two years ago, something like this would have never happened. Silver would be shocked as well once she sees this. Saphira was always thinking of the worse possibilities, making her paranoid. That's why we never left with Leo, Ralph, Mickey, Angie and Donny.

If only we realized sooner that we can't infect anyone with the virus, then maybe we'd be on that pirate ship with them. Or maybe not. Knowing Saphira, even if we knew sooner about the virus limitations, she still wouldn't want us to become pirates. Any kind of danger is a no in her books. And a pirate's life is exactly that, dangerous. It was annoying at a time when she kept telling me no for this and no for that, saying I might get seriously hurt. If it wasn't for Silver explaining that Saphira feels this way because of certain events that happened in the past, I would have never understood my older sister's fear of the world.

I was now nervously sitting on the bench, watching Saphira move around the small kitchen of the ship. She wanted to make something special for me as a way to celebrate. I kept glancing at the blond, who I learned was named Sanji, also watching Saphira with nervousness. Only, his nervousness was different than mine. I know Saphira can cook, I was just jittery because I'd be tasting food that I haven't eaten in a long time. I think the blond is nervous because this is his kitchen and someone else is cooking in it.

"All done. Here you go." Saphira carries a tray of food over to the table. I took a sniff of the aroma wafting in the air. My mouth watered at the devine smell. Saphira didn't just make me something, she decided to make everyone something. The crew squeezed on the benches of the small table, looking at their plates warily. The Captain and I didn't hesitate to start digging in. By the sound of my blissful sounds as I chew the food slowly, it encourage the rest to take a bite of their food as well.

"Wow! I didn't know you can cook." Usopp, the guy with the long nose, scarfs down his food. Saphira put her hands on her hips as she scrutinized everyone's reaction to her food. "Yeah, it's pretty good. Where'd you learn to cook?" Nami complemented her. Saphira glanced at me as she spoke, "From the mayor's wife." There was confused looks around, probably not knowing who she's talking about. But, I knew. She was lying too. Saphira knew how to cook before we even arrived in Melon Island. That means I have to be careful of what I say around these people.

If Saphira hasn't told them anything, I won't too. I froze when I glanced back at Saphira. She was giving me a knowing smile. "They know, Wini." At the raise of my brow, she continued. "About our virus." I dropped my fork in surprise as I glance around at everyone sitting at the table. The fact that they didn't seem bothered or surprised by her words meant it was true. "Why'd you tell them? I thought we're suppose to keep it a secret." Saphira scratched behind her head as she avoided my eyes. "Some... unfortunate things happened, and they found out about it." I opened my mouth to further question her, but she stopped me before I could. "I'll explain everything later. Just enjoy yourself for now."

I nod my head slowly as I picked up my fork to continue eating. At the sound of a thud when my fork hit the table, I looked down to see that my plate of food was gone. "Luffy! Saphira made that specially for her sister!" I looked up to see the rubbery man figting everyone to grab their plates from them. He managed to grab Usopp's plate as well. A tick mark appeared at my temple as I jumped up in my seat, startling everyone. "You jerk! That was mine!" Saphira tried to stop me, "Wini, wait! There's more-" She was cut off when I gave a fierce growl and pounced Luffy out of his chair.
