Saphira's POV
All was relatively quiet. Until, it wasn't. The ship started violently shaking and everyone who was too slow in grabbing something to steady them, went tumbling to the floor. Sanji was quick to help steady Nami so she didn't went flying out of bed. I grunt as I push myself off the floor. "I'll go check what's going on." I honestly didn't want to go outside. If there was a list of things I hate in this world, the cold would be second ranked.
My metal arms aren't affected by the cold in any way, but the stumps that are my arms are. When it gets really cold, they start to cramp. It's painful and annoying. Sometimes they give these fantom pains and makes it feel like my real arms are still there.
I push open the door that leads ouside to the main deck of the ship. I pause by the mast of the ship as my eyes widen at what I saw. There was this massive metal abomination floating on the sea surface in front of us. I could hear Zoro mumbling from up on the crow's nest, "Could that thing be a ship?" Just as he asked his question, the abomination started transforming before our eyes. The metal that looked like a dome of sort, started retracting. Like it was a flower about to bloom. But, what was revealed was not a pretty flower.
It was indeed a ship, with a hippo wearing a crown as it's figure head. Their jollyroger was a obvious sign that we were facing pirates. I grit my teeth in annoyance as I frown at the ship that looks to be carrying hundreds of pirates. A voice boomed from the enemy pirate ship, "Are you surprised? This is my Giant Diving Ambush Ship: The Bliking!" I frown at the ridiculous name. I scrutinized the ship and the pirates I could see on the deck of the ship. The sudden sound of the door behind me busting open, almost send my heart out of my throat. "Oi! What's going on-?" Sanji paused as he stared wide eye at the cause in our dilemma.
I groan in frustration as we can do nothing but watch as the enemy pirates invade our ship and surround us. I lift my hands to show I am unarmed as they point their guns at us. My swords were back in the girl's room. I curse at my stupidity for leaving them there. I heard the same voice from earlier speak again, "Are you lowlifes really pirates? You're just a bunch of weirdos." I look to where the voice was coming from and frown at the man. He was short and round, with blue purplish hair. He didn't look very impressive, but my virus was warning me of this guy. I realized why too, when he bit a knife in half and started eating it.
'Devil Fruit powers? Or is he something other than human?' Either way, this guy might be a serious problem. I cringe at the sound of him eating the blade of the knife. It made my teeth ache. "It hurts just watching him!" Usopp felt the same way as he shivered. The man seemed unbothered as he swallowed, "Ah, right... might as well ask. We're headed to the Drum Kingdom. Would you happen by chance to have an Eternal Pose or even a Log Pose on you?" Sanji took a drag from his cigarette, "Ain't got one. Ain't never heard of any place called that either."
Luffy was getting impatiant with all this, "There! That's all, right? Now get outta here already. We're in a hurry." The man picked at his teeth, looking bored. "Ah, what a shame. However, I'll be taking your treasures and your ship." I didn't like the large grin that slowly spread along his face, "But, before that, I'm feeling a bit pekish." I gasp in shock and horror as the man opened his mouth impossibly wide and took a bite out of the Going Mary. "What the hell is he?!" Usopp was white in the face as he watches the man chew on the piece of wood. 'He must have a Devil Fruit power, there's no mistaking it now!'
Luffy was beyond piss, "Don't eat our ship!" Before Luffy could jump down and beat the crap out of this man, a gun man stopped him. "Don't interrupt Wapol-sama!" Now we have a name to the gluttonous man. Luffy knocked the two gun men near him to the ground. The other gun men turn their attention on him and got ready to fire. I wasn't worried when they opened fire on Luffy. He's made of rubber, after all. Those bullets won't do anything to him. I sigh as Sanji and Zoro started fighting the enemy pirates, too. Usopp was trying to get to cover. I glance at the gun men that were pointing their guns at me.
