Saphira's POV

I had a crisis at hand. My brow furrow as I held up my only pare of clothing. They were ruined, shredded and dirty beyond help. I sigh at my luck. I have nothing to wear, literally. I didn't want to ask Nami to barrow some of her clothes, she'll definitely charge me for it. Besides, Vivi was already barrowing clothes from her. If I asked to borrow too, there won't be enough clothing to share between all three of us. Who would have thought I'd end up with such a dilemma.

I frown at my pants and think of an idea. The one pair was only slightly ruined. With scissors, needle and thread, I might be able to savor it. For my shirts, though, there is no saving it. I could ask one of the boys to barrow one of their shirts. I know Sanji wouldn't mind. I nod as I have a plan to save myself from asking Nami for help again. I search the small room for scissors, needle and thread. Once I've obtained what I have been searching for, I quickly got to work.

After a while of struggling to hold the needle steady with my metal fingers, and finally getting the pants to look decent, I held the finished piece in my hands. I sweatdrop at the horrible stitches. As I put the pants on, I can only pray it will hold together. I put on my ruined shirt that is covered in dry blood and have claw like shreds. My bandages keep my skin from showing through the gaps in my shirt. I could only sigh again as I grab my bag and rummage through it to search for my gloves.

Only, my problems seem to be never ending. I groan when I realize that my gloves, too, are ruined beyond saving. I throw my bag on the ground in a fit and storm out of the room, searching for Sanji. On the deck, Sanji, Luffy and Usopp seem to be fishing. I also realize that the ship stopped moving, there seems to be no wind to blow the sails. I sweat drop when they started chasing the bird, Karoo, around the mast of the ship. "Hey, Sanji..." Sanji immediately stopped what he was doing and gave me his full attention. "Yes, Saphira, dear!"

"Do you have a shirt I can barrow?" I point to my ruined shirt, not needing to explain for my reason. Sanji frowns slightly at my ruined shirt, "Of course, my dear, I'll get you one right away!" He was off in a cloud of dust to the men's quarters. Nami heard my short conversation with Sanji, "Saphira, if you need clothing, you should have just asked." I look up to where she was standing with Vivi and cross my arms, "And have more added to my depth, I'm good, thanks." By Nami's smirk, I was right in my judgement that she would have made me pay for it.

Sanji came back quickly and held out a neatly folded white shirt. "This is the closes shirt I could find that could be mistake for a lady's shirt." I took the shirt and unfolded it. I was surprised by the effort he put in. I would have been fine with just a simple dress-shirt. I didn't really care if it was a men's shirt or not. The shirt had flounce sleeves. He was right, depending on how you styled the shirt, the shirt could have been mistaken for a lady's shirt.

"Thank you, I appreciate it." I quickly went back to the girl's quarters to change my shirts. All I have to do now is get new gloves and some boots. Boots wont be a proplem, seeing as I haven't touched my spare boots yet. The problem is now my gloves. Without my gloves, I won't be able to do ordinary tasks. I won't be able to even comb my hair. I shiver at the memory of the first time I tried to brush my hair with my metal fingers, only for my hair to knot in the joints.

The mayor's wife had to cut my hair to just free my fingers from the tangle. I look at my simple black gloves and wonder if needle and thread would be able to help it. I sigh as I took my gloves and the needle and thread, and worked on 'saving' my gloves. After a few minutes of struggling, I was finally finished. I had to cut my gloves shorter to use the extra material to close the gapping holes in my gloves. I wasn't bothered by it, the shirt Sanji gave me sleeves were long enough to cover my arms.

I groan as I stretch and rub at the back of my neck. Who would have thought doing needle and thread work would be so tiring. I stood up and left the room to join everyone else outside. I look up to see Usopp was using a spyglass to look for something. "A million Little Garden residents are out to greet Captain Usopp!" I sweat drop at his words. It seems that Whisky Peak's grand entrance got to his head.
