I woke up coughing with a runny nose and my Alarm was ringing loudly.
my bed felt cold and empty.
it was a Monday morning now and hadn't seen James all weekend.
I missed him.

He called me on Saturday then texted through out Sunday, but I missed him.
This is why I didn't like relationships, I'm clingy and it gets hard to not see them.

I dragged myself out of bed, chest hurting, pulling myself to the closest.
It was getting cold now, being mid November and I think I've got the flue.
James is gonna give me shit for wearing mini shorts

I was so focused on my hair I didn't even hear James walk in, or notice him in my bedroom door way"Good morning

I was so focused on my hair I didn't even hear James walk in, or notice him in my bedroom door way
"Good morning." James said as I put my curling iron down, making me jump a little.

"Morning." I said groggy, then blowing my nose.
"You okay?" James asked coming behind me, moving my head to look at him.

"Yea just a cold." I say, picking up my moisturiser.

"You sure? Just a cold?" He said with his hand on my knee.

"Yeah, can u pass me my nasal spray?" I say pointing at my bag.
James was quick to grab it as I started putting on primer.
"I'm glad to see you in a hoodie today." He told me, as I tried to get rid of my blocked nose.

"Your a bad influence." I told him, dabbing on concealer.
Janes laughed a little, standing up and heading into my kitchen.

Slowly I finish with my face, getting up and wandering to the kitchen to find James looking at the pictures on my fridge.
"Who are they?" He asked pointing to the picture of my parents.

"My mum and dad."
"Where are they."
"Probably some homeless shelter, maybe a public rehab." I say pulling my water bottle out the fridge.

James stared down at me with sympathy for a moment, then turning back to the fridge door, scanning the countless photos taking in each one then stopping at the one of me, him and Taylor.

It was a pretty new photo, we took it the week before at lunch.
"I feel honoured." Jame said brightly pointing to the picture.

I laughed a little grabbing my bag and walking to the front door.
I sneezed and coughed a-bit as we walked down the stairs and over to James car.
"You sure your okay?" James asked opening the passenger door.

I nodded getting in the car, letting James strap me in.

I fell asleep almost instantly on the way to school, only waking up as we walked into home room, realising James had carried me all the way.

James didn't notice I was awake as he sat down next to Derik with me in his arms.
"What's up with her." I heard Derik ask.

"I think she sick, but she doesn't have a fever, I checked in the car, so I can't technically keep her home." He told Derik and I felt his hand rubbing my back.

"Woah what the fuck is going on here?" I heard a loud an familiar voice say from the doorway.

Teddy.

Teddy is my ex. He's been away for like four months and I had quite literally forgotten about him.

"Oh no." I mumbled so quietly I don't think James could actually hear me.
I sat up and lent backwards on the table, facing James but, looking over my shoulder.

"Hey teddy." David said from his seat, looking back at me wide eyed.

Teddy basically ignored him and stood staring at me, I guess hoping for an explanation.
I broke up with teddy a few months ago after a party because he drunkenly confessed that he had cheated on me.

Thankfully A couple of teddy's old friends walked in and started jumping on him happy to see him again, dragging him away.
I coughed a lot while getting up to go to David, Leaning on the desk for support trying to catch a breath.

The bell for next period rang, and my ears buzzed.
Grate.

"Be good." James said setting me on the ground then leaning forward putting his hand on my face, kissing my forehead.
I felt my face melt a little bit as I looked up at him as he turned to leave.

"Bye." I said waving a little, knowing he probably couldn't hear or see.

I was sneezing and coughing all throughout class and Taylor was sat next to me rubbing my back as I had a coughing fit.
"It okay, deep breath.." she told me as I tried to take a long breath in.

"Dianna do you need to go to the nurse?" Our teacher asked looked at me from across the class.

I was about to say now what Taylor told him yes for me, picking up my bag and my hand to lead me out the class.
"I'm fine, I don't want to go to the nurse" I whine as we walk the hallway down to the office.

"Yea sure." Taylor says, voice filled with sarcasm, texting on her phone.
"James is gonna take you home."

I groaned in response, not wanting to drag James out of class for a cold.
Taylor dropped me outside the office the left to head back to class while i stood and waited for James, not really wanting to go in alone.

"Dianna." I heard a familiar voice coming towards me.
"Teddy." I said looking at him, sniffling and wiping my nose.

"What's wrong why are your here by yourself?" He asked standing in front of me.

I could never figure out what category teddy would be in. He was so up and down it was so hard to see him naturally, especially when he's around his friends, that's when he's the worst.
He had his moments of course but he cheated on me so he's not really got a good show of character.

He's the only one who ever really thought I was a little, and I told him he was crazy. Teddy and I happened in a really vulnerable time of my life, and I think that's when my little side showed the most, and the least.

Seeing Teddy right now was bringing back so many memories.
"I've got a cold, maybe a chest infection. It's fine, I'm waiting for James." I said looking at the floor.
"So your not calling him daddy then?" He asked out of the blue, and I couldn't tell if it was a joke or not.

"No I'm not, it's only been a month." I told him rolling my eyes.

"That's fair. I got classified a week ago, caregiver apparently."
I scoffed, loudly.
I didn't really mean to it was just a first reaction.

He rolled his eyes but scoffed a-bit too, looking down at the ground.
"It's kinda crazy that you and me would have had an actual shot at staying together." He said kicking he's feet.
"It would have been not different if we were right now. You still have to take the classes and I would have been pared up.." I tell him, not really enjoying the conversation.

"Yeah, probably." He said, and I could hear footsteps coming towards us.

"Bye." I said as James approached and I made a move towards him.

"Dianna, are you okay? Taylor said you were getting worse." James said putting his hand on my four-head.
"Your burning up, come on I'll sign you out, we can go home." He said leading me into the office.
