monae exited the dressing room with a smile on her face as she searched for her group of friends—quickly finding them once she immediately spotted khia due to her blonde wig.

monae walked over to the group and asadi came up behind her and wrapped his arm around her neck, playfully putting her in a chokehold, "asadi!" monae said while laughing as he slowly lowered her body towards the ground.

"let my baby go" khia said, popping asadi's arm before grabbing monae from him who was a laughing mess "that hurt" monae said "you'll be okay" asadi said with a thumbs up.

"y'all did so good!" fambie clapped, pulling the siblings into a warm hug before placing a kiss on both of their foreheads "it feels like my grandma just kissed me, back up" asadi whined.

"oh shut up" fambie said as monae shook her head "yall boys did good" quan said, putting his hand up so monae could give him a high five "thanks, i was a little nervous" monae said, her eyes easily landing on brooklyn who was a few steps away.

"that was actually so good" gio said and monae smiled "really? i was hoping so" monae said since she was being very dramatic earlier and was overthinking it "you did amazing and you also looked amazing, we have tons of videos and pictures" gio announced causing monae to pout.

"i literally love y'all, im so glad we finally met" monae said, pulled gio into a friendly hug which caused yanni and alyce to mug her from a distance "of course" gio laughed "the fuck? bitch needa back up" yanni said.

"literally, always in somebody face" alyce said "now i'll be wrong if i slap her" yanni said, twisting the cap back on her lipgloss "do it" alyce said and they walked towards the girls.

"i'll be back" monae said, excusing herself before walking over to brooklyn who had been watching her the whole time "hey beautiful" brooklyn greeted, sliding in a compliment that made monae's heart flutter.

"hi" monae smiled, halting her movements as she stood in front of brooklyn before gasping "oh my gosh! you don't have your face covered" monae pointed out as her hand hovered over her mouth.

brooklyn laughed once as she looked the opposite way before handing monae her camera "thanks back there, i really needed to hear that" monae said causing brooklyn to look at her.

"i was just looking out for you since— yea i was just checking on you" brooklyn cut herself off, not wanting to say too much causing monae to furrow her eyebrows.
