"mort, look at me" marni said to her baby who was currently pouting and looking at the floor cause she didn't want to go with her grandma for a few days "come here" marni said and monae watched mort slowly walk over to her mom with her head down.

"i feel like being petty" marni said as she pulled out of her mother's driveway "with who and what?" monae questioned "ice spice is having an album release party tonight and you know brooklyn's gonna be there so we're going" marni said causing monae to look at her like she was crazy.
